Happy Monday! I’m running a little behind today because I am off today and yesterday got away from me. I hope you are having a great start to your Monday! I’m here with Holly sharing some fun from our weekend. I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday!
I hit the road around 4 pm on Friday with a few girlfriends. We were going to Seven Springs resort in Pennsylvania. I’d never been there and it is GORGEOUS!!! We stayed in on Friday evening and stayed up late catching up.
We headed to the spa on Saturday morning for facials and relaxation. It was so lovely! Then we hit the ski lodge and laughed and danced all day long! It was a great day without many pictures. 😉
I wore these new boots all day on Saturday and they were AMAZING!! I impulse ordered them when Ali shared them last week and I am so glad I did. They have a little wedge in them but are so cushiony and comfy! Sometimes when I wear wedges or heels all day, the balls of me feet ache the next day and it didn’t happen this time! I walked all over the lodge, danced A LOT, and was on my feet for a long time. I love these!
We were up and moving Sunday morning to head home. It flurried off and on the whole weekend. It was so cold that the snow stuck to the trees and the entire place looked like a winter wonderland all weekend. 😍
I took a lovely nap on Sunday afternoon and we played What Do You Meme family edition. If you haven’t played it yet, I highly recommend it. We laugh at every single round!
I came home to a stack of packages! We ordered a new Christmas tree after 17 years with our old one. I decided to get an unlit one because I couldn’t find a pre lit tree with enough lights for my liking. The industry standard of 100 lights per foot just isn’t enough, in my opinion. 🤩. I also had this box:
Isn’t Lilly so clever to send packages like this? You’d have no idea there was so many fun colors inside! I only got a few things in the Lilly Sunshine Sale and I’ll share them soon!
While I was gone, Jack had 2 basketball games and Luke went to swim practice. The second basketball game wasn’t until 9 pm so they guys had a late night on Saturday. We all needed an early night on Sunday and that’s exactly what we did.
The boys and I are off today. I’m sitting in our family room right now enjoying the sunrise and the last day of our Christmas lights on the deck.
I scheduled a few appointments so we’ll be hanging around the house and heading to some doctor’s offices. I hope you have a great day full of sunshine and books!
