Happy Monday! I’m here with Holly sharing some fun from our weekend. I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday!

We had a pretty unscheduled weekend and it was just what I needed. Unfortunately the two things we had to do this weekend were at the same time! Jack had a basketball game and we had a holiday party on Saturday night. I headed to the party and Jeff coached Jack.

Saturday was also Maggie’s birthday party. We FaceTimed during the party and she was so excited to say hi to everyone it looked like this most of the time. Happy birthday Maggie!

Luke started our new Christmas puzzle and we got about 1/3 of it done. I enjoy puzzles but I find that they are addictive. I kept saying “just one more piece and then I’ll get moving” and then continued working on the puzzle.

We watched the World Cup final on Sunday morning. It was a great game! The boys and our neighbor would go out to play, come back in to check on things, go back out, and come back in. They were glued to the tv during overtime and the PKs. Congratulations to Argentina!

I picked up my embroidery project that I started last summer and did a little more sitting by the Christmas tree on Sunday afternoon. My goal is to finish by the end of the year. I can do it!

I made a new chili recipe for dinner on Sunday and it was delicious. I’ll share it before the end of the year.

I need to wrap and make some cookies this week. I will also be watching the doorbell camera like a hawk. I have quite a few presents on the way still. I’m not sure how often I’ll be blogging this week with 5 days of school, some practices, and all the Christmas fun. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!
