Happy Tuesday! I wanted to join the ladies to talk about hosting yesterday, so I’m sharing our weekend today.

It was a fun weekend but we were busy. I was hoping to watch Hocus Pocus 1 & 2, but we didn’t have time on Saturday and the weather was too nice to be inside watching a movie on Sunday! I had my earrings ready for a fun movie marathon!

Jeff’s school had their homecoming game on Friday night so he was there. The boys and I went to our local high school’s homecoming game and it was so fun! We were planning on going to the parade before the game, but the weather was gorgeous and the boys were having fun playing football with the neighbors.

We were up early Saturday morning for Luke’s soccer tournament. I had my soccer mom outfit – leggings, tank top, sweatshirt – ready for the day!

In between his two games, Luke and I read in the car to stay warm and went for a little walk to keep his body moving and ready to play. Jeff and Jack went to a nearby golf course to hit balls.

Luke had quite the cheering section at his second game. My dad came and so did Jeff’s mom, sister, brother-in-law, and two nieces. He played really well. The team was pretty aggressive and Luke seems to enjoy the contact and physical-ness of those games. Our niece had a game after Luke’s so we stayed and cheered her on. It was fun for them to play in the same tournament on the same field!

We headed home to warm up for a bit before going back out to watch a football game. A bunch of Luke’s buddies play football and he wanted to go see what it was all about. It was fun to watch, but Luke’s decided he’s going to stick with soccer. Our neighbor played in the next game and some friends cheered so we stayed for a bit to watch them play for a bit.

We ordered pizza for dinner before going next door to for a birthday party. The kids played flashlight tag for a while and celebrated our neighbor’s birthday. It was early to bed because both kids were busy on Sunday.

Luke’s soccer game was at 12:30 and Jack’s tee time was at 1:30 so we had a relaxing morning before hitting the road. Luke and his team played well and Jack played well on the course. We all grabbed a late lunch/early dinner and met at home to get ready for the week.
It was early to bed because the kids have some tests this week, they have 9 practices between Monday and Thursday, and I am starting to teach an after school tutoring session. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

Fun fun fun! Glad the weather cooperated!
So many outdoor activities! I love that they had quite the cheering section and that you all supported friends and family too! Looks like a great weekend.
Cute soccer mom gear!
Thanks!
