Happy Monday! I’m here with Holly sharing some fun from our weekend. I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday!
We had a great weekend! Jack and I went to Harrisonburg, Virginia to James Madison University with a bunch of my cousins, my parents, and my aunt. Everyone arrived through the evening on Friday and we had a delicious dinner. It was great to catch up with everyone. We ended up at the Waffle House around 1 am. When in a college town…
Saturday morning started a little slower after that late night. I went for a walk to get the day started. Then we all got ready for the game! We tailgated, did a little shopping in the bookstore, and cheered the Dukes on to a big win!!
We stopped at Mr. J’s, a delicious bagel shop, on the way out of town on Sunday. I loved getting breakfast at Mr. J’s in college and it is just as good 20+ years later!
Luke went to the football game at Jeff’s school on Friday night. It was an exciting game and Luke got to watch from the sideline.
They had a low key day on Saturday, resting up after our busy first week of school.
On Sunday morning, Luke had his first regular season soccer game. They didn’t win, but he played well. The team was good and his team played tough.
We spent our Sunday hanging out and watching football. It rained off and on all day and it was perfect for relaxing, napping, reading, and getting ready for the week.
I am heading into the week with a heart full of purple and gold. Visiting JMU makes me so happy because I love that place! I made great friends and great memories there. I am hoping we begin to settle into the school routine this week, but I am not sure when I’ll be posting this week. Hopefully I’ll see you a few times! Have a great day full of sunshine and books!
