Friday Favorites – 7/15/22

Happy Friday! We had a great week! There were quite a few late nights and one very early morning, but that’s what summer is for. I have some favorites to share with you, so let’s get to it!

Linking up with Erika and Andrea

Favorite 1: ATLANTA!! We went to Atlanta this week. We stayed with my sister and her family and it was a great time. I’ll share more next week, but we packed a lot into those three days.

Favorite 2: SWIM MEET!! I love swim meets! They are so exciting and we have a really fun team. Last week’s meet was so rainy, but we made the most of it! Swim season goes fast. There are only 5 dual meets and 1 championship meet, so after 6 weeks of competition it’s over. I have the best memories of summer swim and hope my kids are making some, too!

Favorite 3: OLYMPICS!! Atlanta is full of Olympics sites and memorabilia. I love everything Olympics so it was really fun to see so many things from the 1996 Olympics!

Favorite 4: BOOKS!! I finished all those Good Housekeeping magazines and have been reading more books. This week I finished Nancy Thayer’s Summer Love, Red White and Whole by Rajani LaRocca, and The Lifeguards by Amanda Eyre Ward. All three of them were good!

Favorite 5: JACK!! Jeff decided that it was time for Jack to learn how to cut the grass. He started with the side yard and did a great job!

Hello Monday – Family Food Traditions

We are going to see Jack Johnson tonight and all four Parsons are excited! The kids have a swim meet tomorrow and we have an adult night at our pool. Sunday should be pretty low key and then I’ll be back here on Monday sharing some of our Atlanta fun. Have a great weekend full of sunshine and books!

Atlanta looks like such a fun place. I’ve only been there for one night years ago for a basketball game. I think Travis will have hayden mowing the lawn next summer 🙂 I read those two books too. We have six weeks of swim and championship. Hadley had a weird swim season with only four meets (and one of them was cut short due to rain) because of other things and then this week was championship and she was at camp. Can’t wait to read about Atlanta. I love Jack Johnson. Have fun!
