Happy Monday! I’m here with Holly sharing some fun from our weekend. I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday!

Jack wanted to go to our local high school basketball game on Friday after swim practice. I was going to take him in, stay for a bit, and then head home, but the game started earlier than usual so I just stayed. It was so weird to think that in a year and a half, that will be his school! Time – slow down!!
Both boys had basketball games on Saturday and the schedules lined up so we could all go to all of them. My parents came to the first two games of the day, too.

On the way home from Jack’s last game, we stopped for dinner at Red Robin. We haven’t been there in a long time and it was pretty good. I knew they had bottomless fries, but all the regular sides were bottomless. It was perfect. I got the house salad as my side and ended up with a big salad after a few refills. And I could have a few of the boys’ fries without any fuss. Win, win. I soaked in the last evening of Olympic events coverage.

Jack and Luke had a snowboarding lesson on Sunday morning. I didn’t think about it being President’s Day weekend when I schedule it. The mountain was PACKED!! Can you see the boys out there? Nope? I can’t either.

I hung out in the warming room and waited for them to come find me.

Over 5 hours later, they decided it was time to head home. We’ll hopefully be back at least once before the season ends.

I ended the night watching the Closing Ceremony and putting my Olympic Rings necklace away for a little while. I loved the Americans’ outfits at the Closing Ceremony! That sweater and that jacket are spectacular!

We are off today for President’s Day and Luke has a futsal tournament in the morning. It’s going to be beautiful (sunny and 60) this afternoon so we’ll be outside! Don’t forget to link up below! Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

I wish I had seen more of the Olympics but our schedules did not allow- boo- looks like a great weekend Sarah! Love the comments about your mom being ready for pics- she is always ready with that beautiful smile! 🙂
What a great weekend. Hayden has lots of basketball too. I’m sad the Olympics is over.
I always forget holiday weekends like Presidents Day. LOL
Thank God for people like your mom ready for photos!
That Olympic necklace, though.
I never realized that Red Robin had more than just bottomless fries for their bottomless sides.
I barely got to watch the Olympics and I am sad about it. I haven’t been snowboarding in forever, but the mountains are definitely overcrowded right now. And Red Robin has bottomless sides? I had no idea.
