Happy Tuesday! I am linking up with Steph and Jana to show you the books I read this month. This is going to be a short version of what I’ve read lately because we were out late last night at the Van Gogh Immersive Experience and the Olympics are currently occupying most of my free time.

The Girls in the Stilt House by Kelly Mustian

Eight Perfect Hours by Lia Louis ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ (4.5)

Stories I Only Tell My Friend by Rob Lowe (audio)
☀️ ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ ☀️

Lessons by Jenny Colgan ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ ☀️

In Five Years by Rebecca Searle ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ (4.5)

Currently Reading: The Gifted School by Bruce Holsinger

Currently Listening: The Day the World Came to Town by Jim DeFede

I know I’ve said this recently, but I am so surprised that I am loving audio books these days. I have always been a visual learner and had to work hard to listen to books. I’ve listened to three audio books recently. They’ve all been nonfiction and I think that’s the key. I’ll read my fiction books and listen to nonfiction.
What have you been reading? If you are looking for a wide variety of book reviews, check out Steph’s and Jana’s pages and all the blogs that are linking up. There are so many books!! Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

Oh some good ones here- thanks for sharing- adding two to my queue!
Great! I hope you love them!
I absolutely LOVED The Day the World Came to Town- Mesmerized by it and couldn’t stop. I love books like that.
I am going to check out the Stilt House one – that sounds like I’d love it!
Great list here. I loved In Five Years.
I have Eight Perfect Hours on my TBR list and I think I might add some of these other books to that list as well. Thank you for sharing.
i love a good audiobook – i admit, i normally have the ebook on my phone to follow along in case they say a word or i miss something, but still, i enjoy listening and it allows me to ‘read’ when i normally couldn’t (like driving).
eight perfect hours and in five years were both so good. that jim defede book is on my list!
I’m on disk 6 of the 7 of them in Rob’s book and am loving hearing his story told literally in his own voice.
I do want to read Rob Lowe’s book. I saw him live, telling stories about his life, and it was fantastic!

The Girls in the Stilt House definitely sounds like a book I’d enjoy.
I’m not a huge fan of audiobooks, but I do try to do 1-2/year.
I wasn’t a fan for a long time either. But the memoirs got me.
