Tuesday Book Release Day

Happy Tuesday! I am excited to be here sharing two new books with you! I have been reading a ton lately because summer is my prime reading time. I hope you enjoy one of these!

I’m joining my Instagram friend Better With Brandi for the Morning Mafia. The goal is to wake up “early” and use that time to be productive. It’s summer, so I’m not going overboard. I generally wake up in the 6 o’clock hour so my goal is to get up within 15 minutes of waking up. I could lay in my bed all morning watching the Today show, reading, and scrolling on social media. Yesterday, I got up and headed downstairs. I started making the vacation lists – groceries, beach things, clothes, extras, etc. It felt so good to have my head wrapped around all of that and I was able to start packing things up.

We spent the afternoon at the pool yesterday. It was a little chilly in the morning, but it turned into a perfect pool day! I got to catch up with Kourtni and that was wonderful! Kourtni is reading Blush by Jamie Brenner and I think I’m going to read that next. I’m reading The Summer of Lost and Found by Mary Alice Monroe.

We are the Brennans by Tracey Lange

When twenty-nine-year-old Sunday Brennan wakes up in a Los Angeles hospital, bruised and battered after a drunk driving accident she caused, she swallows her pride and goes home to her family in New York. But it’s not easy. She deserted them all―and her high school sweetheart―five years before with little explanation, and they’ve got questions.

Sunday is determined to rebuild her life back on the east coast, even if it does mean tiptoeing around resentful brothers and an ex-fiancé. The longer she stays, however, the more she realizes they need her just as much as she needs them. When a dangerous man from her past brings her family’s pub business to the brink of financial ruin, the only way to protect them is to upend all their secrets―secrets that have damaged the family for generations and will threaten everything they know about their lives. In the aftermath, the Brennan family is forced to confront painful mistakes―and ultimately find a way forward, together.

The Guilt Trip by Sandie Jones

Rachel and Jack. Paige and Noah. Will and Ali. Five friends who’ve known each other for years. And Ali, Will’s new fiancée.

The three couples travel to Portugal for Ali and Will’s destination wedding. Arriving at the gorgeous clifftop villa, the weekend away is a chance to relax and get to know Ali a little better. A newcomer to their group, she seems perfectly nice and Will seems happy after years of bad choices.

But when Rachel discovers a shocking secret about Ali, everything changes. As the wedding weekend unfolds, the secrets each of them holds begin to spill, and friendships and marriages threaten to unravel.

**As always, the summaries come from the author or publisher because they know it best.**

I have not been reading much at night because the Olympics are still on and I am soaking in every moment! We were talking last night about the Winter Olympics and realized that they are only about six months away. I’m not sure my productivity can take an Olympic hiatus two times in one year but I am ready to take it on! Have a great day full of Olympics, sunshine, and NEW books!
