Happy Wednesday! I am joining Anne’s Currently link up today. It’s a fun linkup where she gives five words and we share what we are currently doing in relation to those five words. Let’s get to it.

I am currently choosing…
Our next school-wide book club. Even with hybrid and virtual students, we are going to continue our school-wide book club. We give every family and staff member a book and a reading schedule so hopefully everyone in our whole school is reading the same thing each day. It is great!!

I am currently imagining…
What our summer is going to be like. We usually have easy access to an affordable beach condo all summer long and they sold it this winter. We are also going to Cooperstown for baseball so that’s a week vacation, too. Right now, I’m imagining as many ways as I can to maximize our beach time this summer.

I am currently making…
All the meals! I am really trying to cut back on the amount that we eat out. It’s definitely cheaper and better for us to eat in. Our schedule doesn’t really work to eat out much either. My one concession is lunch on Wednesday. I love getting lunch out and we have a little flexibility with virtual Wednesdays, so we get lunch out most Wednesdays.

I am currently recommending…
I recommend new books every Tuesday. Some weeks I recommend 6 or 7 books and some weeks just one. This week has some good ones!

If you are ready for some summer sunshine, I recommend reading books by my favorite authors – Dorothea Benton Frank, Elin Hilderbrand, Kristy Woodson Harvey, Nancy Thayer, Jamie Brenner, Mary Kay Andrews, Mary Alice Monroe, and Carl Hiaasen.
If you are looking to get cozy in the colder weather, I recommend Jenny Colgan, especially her Little Bookshop, Little Beach Street Bakery, and Mure series.
I am currently wearing…
Right now, on Tuesday evening I am wearing my pajama cardigan. It’s a fleecy pajama top that I have had for almost 20 years. Gasp!! That sounds bad, it really is in pretty good shape and oh so comfy!
But to work, I’ve been wearing lots of fun sneakers because I am on the move all day! I take a full book cart to most classrooms twice a week so that everyone has a chance to check out books. On Tuesday I came home with almost 80 exercise minutes on my watch and I didn’t exercise this morning!
That was fun! Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

Your sneakers are SO FUN!! I am also dreaming about beach time and summer! Bring it on!
Love the green sneakers! 😃
Oh, I love your fun sneakers! I’m about to start a five or six week position as an elementary school librarian so I will be getting lots of exercise too! I’m looking forward to finding books for kids to check out.
And I am in the midst of reading Jenny Colgan’s 500 Miles From You and I am really loving it.
I love that arrangement of summer book titles! Fun!
It’s good that you are eat our less and making your own food. I also like your meal plan. I will have to check out the books you have listed to read. Thanks for the blog visit and enjoy the rest of the week.
I just love your fun sneakers! The school reading club program sounds wonderful.
A book club sounds fun! I can’t wait for summer!!! Your meals looks sound so delicious!
What a fun link up! I hope to join next month. I love that your school has a book club for the family. The sunshine has been out lately which has me ready for summer!
You have such fun sneakers! I think I have read every single one of those summer reads you recommended; they’re my favorite summer authors too.
Okay, your sneakers are so cute! And I love the idea of a school wide book club – that’s so fun!!!! I’m off to see what books you posted about yesterday. I feel like March has some great releases.

What fun sneakers! So great. And I just love the idea of an all-school book club. Would love to know what some of your selections have been 🙂 Also yes to getting a taste of summer via books (since that’s the only way it’s possible right now) – I just read an advance copy of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s new one, which is set in Malibu, and the surfer vibes were great. Your list is reminding me that it’s time to finally pick up some Elin Hilderbrand for the first time, as I keep hearing good things about her books.
Thanks for joining the linkup!
We’ve read Life According to Humphrey, The Mouse and the Motorcycle, Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library, and Charlotte’s Web.
Those fun sneakers are great and I’m vicariously mourning your beach condo with you!
Oh my gosh I am loving your shamrock shoes!!!
And I love every author you recommended! Jenny Colgan is a favorite of mine, so is Mary Kay Andrews!
And yay to more beach time!
What a great book club idea. I LOVE your shamrock sneakers!
Super cute sneakers and I hope you find a beach place for the summer.
Thanks!
