Hello Monday – 11/9/20

Happy Monday! I am so excited for this week! I have a fun week planned for Sunshine & Books – books, books, and more books with my mama, some sunshine, and Christmas cheer thrown in. As for our week in real life, the weather is supposed to be amazing, we have an early dismissal day on Wednesday, and I’m looking forward to this weekend!

I’m linking up with Tanya and the Hello Monday girls to share our weekend.

On Friday after school, the weather was amazing! I was feeling extra librarian-ish with my cardigan, library T-shirt, and librarian mask chain.

Both boys went to swim team practice and it was so weird to come home in such darkness. It was only 6 pm but the sun was most definitely down! Everyone got in their pjs and we watched some tv before heading to bed.

We woke up to the most beautiful Saturday morning! It was so warm and sunny! The boys played outside for a while and I got a workout in. Luke had 2 soccer games. Jack made it to swim team practice and I carved out some outside reading time in between.

After Luke’s second soccer game, Jack decided that he wanted to have a fire pit so we did. The boys rode their scooters with light up wheels while I enjoyed a nice glass of red wine. Some friends came over and we made Halloween candy s’mores. All of the different varieties were so yummy – Reeses, 3 Musketeers, Milky Way, York Peppermint Patties, KitKat, Snickers. The boys made some delicious choices.

We woke up to another AMAZING day on Sunday! I finished Troubles in Paradise by Elin Hilderbrand ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ ☀️!! Oh, how I love that series and I cannot wait to go see St. John. I loved how Elin left the Steeles and all of their extended family members. It was just so good!!

I started a new Christmas book and it felt like I was actually reading on St. John Sunday afternoon. My deck got up to 86 degrees in the sunshine and it was so so lovely!

Luke played with a buddy all afternoon. They had so much fun!

Jeff and Jack were at the golf course for Jack’s last tournament of the seasons. He had a great time this season and can’t wait to play on the tour next year!

We watched the Steelers win and Luke and I played a new to me card game called Trash.

Be sure to come back on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday this week for all the book fun! Have a great week full of sunshine and books!

Those s’mores sound delicious and I don’t even like s’mores! We had such warm weather this weekend too and I was loving it.
