Friday Favorites – 11/6/20

Happy Friday! We had the greatest week, 3 days of in person school, one day of virtual school, one day off, lots of election excitement, and some fun! I’m linking up with Andrea and Erika to share our favorites!

Favorite 1: ELECTION!! We voted on Sunday and took the kids with us, as always. It felt weird on Tuesday not to vote, but it was nice to not have to wait in line. Our polling place had a long line almost all day, which I think is fantastic! We were home on Wednesday for our weekly virtual day and I had the news on for most of the day. I was just so curious about what was happening in the election. The kids were both really excited to and kept checking in on the Electoral College count. I ended up printing this map/recording sheet for them from Andrea. It was perfect. They colored a few different versions and time stamped them to show updates.

Favorite 2: FALL!! On Sunday I took down all of our Halloween decorations and added the Thanksgiving decorations to all the fall ones I left up. How cute is this little light up turkey?

I also love these pumpkin earrings right now. They are perfectly fall!

Favorite 3: BOOKS!! Luke had to go to a doctor’s appointment with me this week and he couldn’t put his book down. He has recently discovered the joy of listening to a book while reading the paper book. Luke LOVES to be read to, but I can’t always do it if I am driving or busy. Discovering Audible is like reading magic to him!

I finally felt like it was the right time to finish the Elin Hilderbrand Paradise series. Sadly, I am flying through the book. It’s so good, but I don’t want the trilogy to end!!

It was SO LOVELY outside on Wednesday so I enjoyed a sunny lunch! Sunshine earrings, beautiful sun shining, and reading The Remarkable Journey of Coyote Sunrise.

Favorite 4: PAMPERED CHEF!! Jack’s baseball team had a Pampered Chef fundraiser this fall. I ordered a few things I needed and a few fun things. I feel like I can never have enough measuring cups and spoons, so I got these 3 sets.

I broke my little pair of tongs so I added these to my cart.

I also picked up the popcorn popper. I love how filling popcorn can be as a snack for hungry kids but I hate all the chemicals in microwave popcorn. Now I can cook popcorn in my microwave without all the chemicals.

I also picked up these three seasonings to try.

Favorite 5: JEWELRY!! I have been watching Finley Kate Designs on Instagram for a while and finally got this necklace. Isn’t it beautiful???

I was also loving my sunshine earrings this week!

And I was election ready with my red, white, and blue on Tuesday!

Thursday’s weather felt so lovely that I couldn’t help but break out these fun tie dye earrings and necklace!

Favorite 6: SNEAKERS! I love when I can find an outfit that looks professional enough for school and doesn’t look ridiculous with sneakers. As you know my foot has been hurting since I took this little spill. So I am wearing sneakers a lot!

I was so happy to pull these pants and cute jacket together with my sneakers.

Favorite 7: OUTSIDE! We are having the best little warm spell and my guys can’t get enough of it. They are outside before school starts, as soon as they get home, and every other possible second of the day. This weekend is supposed to be close to 70 all weekend and we are so ready for it!

Favorite 8: OVERNIGHT PEEL!! I have been using a BeautyCounter regimen for a few months now and I really love it. I tried this overnight resurfacing peel this week and my skin feels so good!!

This week on Sunshine & Books:
Hello Monday
Tuesday Book Release Day
Amazon Finds
November Goals

That’s our week of fun! I am really looking forward to this weekend. Luke has two soccer games on Saturday and Jack has a golf tournament on Sunday. It’s going to be perfect weather for cheering on my guys and reading in the sunshine!

I love the Turkey decorations & your family voting photo. We’ve had great weather too, so I’m happy my kids have been able to get out and play. Have a great weekend!

That light up turkey is so cute! I read through both Coyote and Elin’s latest book in under 24 hours each. They were so good…. but I hated to see Elin’s series end.

Your earrings always just make your outfit…so fun! Hope you have a great weekend! (Can’t wait to read the Elin book – I have it on hold, but it’s very popular.)
