Hello Monday – 9/16/19

Happy Monday!! We are well rested and ready for another five day week. I am linking up with Tanya and the girls for Hello Monday.

I picked up these espadrilles during the Labor Day Sale on the Circus by Sam Edelman website. They have a little bit of sparkle and are so comfy! They were perfect for a five day week of school with a full moon on Friday the 13th.

On Friday evening, the boys went to their last swim team practice for a few weeks. Our gym is replacing the glass roof in the pool area so it will be closed. When we got home, Luke got a call from the 3rd grade travel basketball coach and he found out he made the team. He was VERY excited!!

Luke also got some lacrosse equipment to be ready for an introductory clinic he’s doing. He’s pretty pumped about it and I found him watching tv in the helmet. 😂

On Saturday Luke had a soccer game and Jack and I took a little run through the mall. Really, it was a flat out sprint because Luke forgot his cleats and we needed to grab some shoes. Jack was an awesome shopping partner and we made it back in time for the game to start.

After soccer, we headed out to Black Ankle Vineyards. It is so beautiful there, even on a cloudy evening. We met some friends there and the kids ran around and played all night. We laughed so hard the whole night!

On Sunday we had a relaxing morning at home. The boys decided that the pulls on their dressers looked better this way.

Luke started his lacrosse clinic and then he headed to a birthday party for the rest of the afternoon. I got some planning done while Luke was playing with his buddies. Hooray for a big ole prize counter!

Jack had baseball practice and then he and Jeff had some good football on the couch time. We spent the rest of the afternoon laughing and hanging out until it was time for the Sunday evening, shower, laundry, cleaning up dash before bed.

I am ready for a great week. I am starting season 2 of Big Little Lies on HBO. I loved the book and thought season 1 was ok, but it made me a little mad because of how different it was from the book. I have high hopes for season 2 because there isn’t a book for it to differ from. The weather looks like it will be full of sunshine and I am going to work hard to make sure it is full of books. I didn’t get to read very much this weekend at all, even though I am loving the book I am reading, The Wedding Sisters by Jamie Brenner.
