Happy Monday! I’m starting the week with Holly and all of you! I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday!

We had a good weekend! The boys had their first swim meet of the season. They swam well and have some goals set for the rest of the season. Jeff and I went to the meet on Saturday. It was fun to cheer them on together! We made our standard stop at an outlet center on the way home. There is Vineyard Vines and Under Armour outlet there and as usual, we did pretty well there.

On Saturday night, Jeff and I went to a Halloween party. The hosts used to live in our neighborhood, but still invite us each year. Jeff and I are not big costume people, but costumes are REQUIRED at the party. This year we went as Mr. Clean and a mop. In the past we’ve been a golfer and caddie, Gru and a minion, two Waldos, lifeguards, the Saved by the Bell crew, Thing 1 and Thing 2, and Thing 2 and Thing 1.

I set an alarm for 7 am on Sunday, but decided to read and relax in bed for a little while. Then I got up and ran a few errands. I had returns and orders to take care of all over town and managed to get it done in under an hour. The boys and I headed back to their swim meet around 11. We did got home around 6 and I made tacos for dinner. It wasn’t Tuesday but tacos were a quick and easy dinner!

I had a great weekend of reading, too! Swim meets always lend themselves to that. I finished a cute seasonal book that read like a Hallmark movie – so fun! I am reading another fun book that just came out on Tuesday about friendship, book clubs, and figuring out life. I listened to a little more Emma on my walk, too.

Jack is still working on his college applications. He is so close to being finished all the supplemental questions and ready to hit submit. This has been quite the process. I knew it was going to be a lot and it sure is! Friends and readers with seniors, I am here with you! We’ve got this! Right??
