Hello Monday – 12/30/24

Happy Monday! Happy last Monday of December! I’m here with Holly sharing some fun from our weekend. I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday!

This weekend has been great. If Jack and Luke didn’t have swim practice I would have no idea what day it was. I usually share Eight Great, but we’ve had a pretty low key weekend so I’ll just share what we’ve been up to.

I’ve been sleeping in way later than usual. Yesterday I slept for almost 11 hours and woke up in the 8 o’clock hour! I don’t often sleep in like that but it was gray and rainy so our room was pretty dark.

On Saturday, I did a strength workout on the Peloton app after straightening up my gym area in the basement. It’s been waaaaay too long since I did a strength workout and I am feeling pretty sore. It’s serving as a good reminder to keep with it! I’ve been walking with my weighted vest

My parents were at my sister’s for Christmas so we got together on Saturday night. It was great to see them! They came back here for dessert and we played more Close the Box

Luke has been making more with his 3D printer. He’s changing the colors of the filament and designs and he’s loving it! Our goal for the rest of the week is to send a new design to the printer.

I finished a book yesterday in front of the Christmas tree. I’m sharing my reading update tomorrow, so be sure to come back.

We’ve been playing Uzzle and Close the Box. The guys played Clue Master Detective while I finished my new puzzle.

I ran a few errands and restarted my go to the grocery store every day streak. Ha! I am hoping to end that streak in the new year!

Holly and I are excited to continue our Hello Monday linkup in 2025! We have a new graphic for you. We’d love for you to join us on January 6th with it.

We are still enjoying our winter break until Thursday. I am not sure what the week will bring, but I am going with the flow for sure. My plan is to start putting Christmas away today, but I’ll leave the outside lights and decorations up through January 6th. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

Your break sounds perfect! Are they really making you come back on Thursday? No!!!
I must say that I am happy Tom has a couple of work days this week and I get to be home alone! Kevin McAllister!
I plan to deep clean, declutter, donate, and put the decor away but I like blue, white, and twinkle lights in January to help me!

I think this week between Christmas and the New Year is made for low and slow. Everyone needs to recharge after a busy end of year. I don’t think anyone is too certain of the day or time. Enjoy the rest of your break and happy new year!

That is such a cool project with the 3D printer! I agree, it is hard to know what day it is. I feel like I am saying outloud to myself each day lately. Glad y’all had a festive week and weekend. Thanks for hosting and Happy New Year!

What a nice combination of Christmas and relaxation. I’m about to start a 3 day split on the peloton app after taking a break from splits for a while, so I too am going to feel the burn tomorrow. Maybe even this afternoon. 🙂 Thanks for hosting, and I look forward to joining more in the new year.

Love the kindle and tree pic. I hope to do the same today. The sisters puzzle is so sweet. We got a couple of puzzles for Christmas this year, and I hope to start one this week. Enjoy the rest of your break!

I am so completely lost on what day it is! LOL. I woke up at 8 this morning too and I can not remember the last time I’ve even slept past 6. It felt great! My oldest has a 3-D printer too and enjoys designing things to print out; even if they don’t always come out exactly the way he envisioned.

Thanks for hosting today! It’s been great reading Christmas recaps or just catching up on “what is going on”. Our family loves puzzles and games – will have to check out the games you linked to. Happy New Year!
