Happy Friday! What a week this was! It was busy and a swift return to reality after a few days off for Thanksgiving. I do have some favorites for you, so let’s get to it.
Favorite 1: WRAPPED! We are Spotify listeners at my house and we’ve been looking forward to Wrapped being released. Because I am a numbers/stats fan, I moved my podcast listening to Spotify this year so it could be included. I find that the music I listen to aligns to the concerts I went to in a year and this year is no different. I went to the Wheeland Brothers and Pat McGee concerts and I had tickets to Micheal Franti but it got postponed.
My podcasts were no surprise either. These are the 5 that I listen to each week. I love them! I was pretty excited when I tagged the podcasts on my Insta story and the Girls Next Door reposted it.
Not to be outdone by Spotify, Audible is also sharing how much I’ve listened this year. They just aren’t quite ready to release it yet.
Favorite 2: SWIMMING!! Jack had his first high school meet of the season. My dad met me there and we cheered him and the team on! Afterwards, my dad told my mom that swim meets haven’t changed much in 30 years. They are still super hot and long. Ha! He’s right!
Favorite 3: MORE SWIMMING! I don’t even get out of the car for the boys’ swim practices anymore. Yesterday, I took them over for a little swim before their meet this weekend and it was nice to see them doing a little practice together.
Favorite 4: TOPS! I picked this up at Kohl’s a month or so ago when I was making an Amazon return and it is so comfortable! I am going to resist my usual pattern of buying it in multiple colors, but it’s hard to do.
I was doing some Black Friday shopping at Lands End and found this cute vest on a super sale. I love a vest and Lands End vests are such a great quality and last forever! I wasn’t sure if it would look more Aztec or Nordic, but I’m going with Nordic.
Favorite 5: BRACELETS!! I was doing a little Small Business Saturday (Sunday) shopping and chatting with Kathryn of Kathryn Robnett (formerly Gray Co.). I was looking for a heart bracelet and she gave me a few options. Imagine my surprise and delight when I went to the website to order it and that fabulous bracelet was called SARAH!!
If you are looking for me, I’ll be poolside all weekend. Actually, I will be poolside each morning, but not all day! The boys are swimming in the same session this meet! Woohoo!!! I need to get on the Christmas shopping stick this weekend and I’m hopeful the internet signal is strong at the pool. Have a great weekend full of sunshine and books!

That is an adorable vest! I had fun watching my youngest’s’ Spotify wrap-up. We figured out he’s listened the equivalent of 85 full 15 hours days in minutes… and most of them were 21 Pilots (their new album that we went to see in concert!)… pretty sure they’d be my top listen for the year too!
