Happy Monday! I’m here with Holly sharing some fun from our weekend. I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday!

Like usual, I have EIGHT GREAT things to for you. I didn’t get around to writing my Friday favorites post so these are weekend and during the week things. Let’s get to it!

1-Luke got his report card this week. His grades were great, but the comments were the best part. Work shows good effort, courteous and cooperative, outstanding achievement, and a pleasure to have in class. To be completely transparent, I do not love the pleasure to have in class comment because that shares more of what is best for the teacher than what the kid is doing. I try to remember most teachers don’t view it that way, so I try to think of it as a compliment for my kid.

2-I ran into the Dollar Store last week and saw these pool noodles. I realize they are probably for decorating, but anytime we can be thinking warm weather things when it’s chilly out is great in my book!

3-I was away with some girlfriends this weekend and we stayed on the beach. Watching the sunrise each morning was so great. I love to watch the sky go from dark, to the orange line on the horizon, and then the sun peeks above the ocean. It is the perfect way to start every day!

4-The full Beaver Moon was this weekend and it was beautiful over the water. I usually give all my love to the sun, but the moon deserves some admiration this weekend!

5-Luke had a soccer tournament this weekend and played really well. His team won their first three games pretty handily and made the championship. They lost that game, but played well!

6-Jack had a swim meet this weekend and did a great job. He dropped quite a few seconds from the meet at the beginning of the month. He had a great time hanging out with his friends between events.

7-My parents helped out a bunch this weekend. They took Jack to an orthodontist appointment (last one before the braces come off!) and took Luke out to dinner Saturday night when Jeff had to work.

8-I spent the weekend with six girls that I have been friends with for over a decade. I went to middle school with some, high school with others, and met others about 10 years ago. We all come together at least once a year for a fun beach weekend. It was a great weekend for laughs, watching the waves, relaxing, and having a great time!

Bonus 9-I swam in the ocean this weekend and that is always great!!

I am heading into a five day week and hoping for the best. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!
