Happy Wednesday! Happy last Wednesday of school for me! Our last day is Tuesday, but today is the last day with my Wednesday classes. It is the first Wednesday of the month and I am linking up with Jennifer to share five things I am currently doing. How responsible Jack is being with his first job. He’s volunteering to pick up shifts, doing a great job at work, and communicating everything with me to make sure it works with the family schedule.
How making more lists makes me feel like I have it all together. I don’t, but those lists sure give me the feeling that I do. I think I have nearly ten lists going right now for things happening in the next 5 days. They are my way to be sure I don’t forget anything.

This weekend! Luke has a lacrosse tournament at the beach and his game times are very conducive to spending time on the beach!
There is an author whose books I’ve been thinking about reading this summer that will be at the beach on Saturday and Sunday. I am hoping to make it to the bookstore, too!

All of the sunshine! After what felt like nothing but cold or rain for weeks and weeks, the sunshine has been a welcome change. We are getting outside more, which automatically makes all four of us happier.

My pool friends! Even though we all live in the same town, I have some friends that I only really see at the pool. Every Labor Day we say we need to get together over the winter, but Memorial Day comes and we haven’t. It’s been so fun to see my pool friends again!
So much wildlife! We had a snake in our front yard this week. I’ve seen a fox on my early morning walks. The deer and the geese have been daily visitors in the cornfield behind our house. I saw some baby bunnies playing on my walk Monday evening. The turtles in our courtyard at school have been coming out more, too. I think the animals are excited to see the sunshine, too!

A Title Nine bathing suit: top and bottom. We had great lounging time at the pool last weekend! I love my Title Nine bathing suits. They fit well, cover what I want covered, and are very comfortable.
Aside from lounging at the pool, I am not doing much lounging. I have been wearing these shorts and tank tops for my outside of school time.
Those were fun to think about! One more thing I am currently thinking about is how in the world can I get everything done AND spend some time at the pool in the evenings. I’m pretty sure it isn’t possible, but I will do my very best! Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

My first job was lifeguard and I loved it! That is so satisfying as a parent!

I definitely need some more reading by the pool/beach time this summer! And after today I only have two Wednesdays left of work. Whoo hooo to almost being on summer break!!! I only ever see my pool friends in the summer too 🙂
