WHAT WE’RE EATING THIS WEEK…

WHAT I’M REMINISCING ABOUT…

Babies! They don’t keep! Both boys’ birthdays are coming up and it has me thinking about them as babies. So sweet, so little, so happy!

That makes me think about Easter pictures too. Jack was 12 days old on his first Easter and Luke was only 5 days old for his first Easter. Such sweet little bunnies!

Our family Easter picture is always one of my favorites to look back to because I love all of the spring colors!

WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO…

We went to Fort Myers and the Everglades last week. It was AMAZING!! All of that warm sunshine made me so happy!

Jack’s basketball team won the county championship and he’s been playing a bunch of golf.

Luke’s Lego League team went to states and was an award finalist. He’s back to lacrosse and soccer.

I’m keeping up with my new workout routine and feeling great about the mix of HIIT, running, walking, and strength workouts.

WHAT I’M WORKING ON…

To be honest, I’ve been working on a lot lately. School has been crazy busy! Just last night Jack asked me why I’ve had so much work to do at home the past few weeks. We’re doing a 1:1 computer rollout for all kids and that’s kept me on my toes and filled most of my time at school.

I am finishing up the reading guide for our school-wide book club.

I am in full on vacation planning mode. I’m planning overnight, week long, and day trips. I’m not sure how that will affect my pool time, but there’s a lot of good stuff coming!

This sounds silly, but I’m still working on that Barrington bag. I have a great coupon and can’t decide what print I want. I know I want the St. Anne zippered tote but I have so many choices that I love! I’ve narrowed it down to these. Here’s a link for 20% off if you’d like it.

WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT…

We are quickly approaching summer books season and I am excited about it. I brought back Tuesday Book Release Day yesterday and shared a bunch of books that I can’t wait to read. I’m starting on my list of Summer Beach Reads for 2022 and that has me pretty excited.

WHAT I’M WATCHING/READING…

I started watching Inventing Anna on Netflix. I’m a few episodes in and so intrigued.

I read more in March and it feels great! I bet I’ll have two more finished before Show Us Your Books on April 12th. You can always keep up with my current reads on Books 2022.

WHAT I’M LISTENING TO…

I’ve been listening to a lot of Zac Brown Band lately. I love his music and I think it sounds like summer. I’m ready for summer!

I’m also listening to my regular podcasts, The Mom Hour, The Girl Next Door, The Lazy Genius, and What Should I Read Next.

I am listening to Open Book by Jessica Simpson right now.

WHAT I’M WEARING…

It has been absolutely freezing and snowed 3 days already this week. I’m wearing warm clothes that look like spring to encourage the warmer weather to head our way!

But this sweater is the question I’m asking this week.

WHAT I’M DOING THIS WEEKEND…

Luke has a lacrosse game and Jack has a golf match. I’ll be cheering on my guys with Jeff. Jeff and Luke have some fun plans on Saturday afternoon/evening, so I bet Jack and I will end up at a driving range or golf course. I ended last Sunday with quite a bit on my to do list so I am hoping to get a bit more done this weekend.

WHAT I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH…

We are celebrating birthdays and Easter next month. I love those!
