Happy Monday! We had the best easy, breezy weekend! I didn’t take many pictures so today is going to be short and sweet. I’m linking up with Tanya and the Hello Monday girls.

For the first time in a very long time, we had no sports this weekend. We almost had 2 blank squares on the calendar!! Jeff had to go to prom at his school for a few hours on Saturday afternoon. Jack and I had to go to the pool for a clean up day where kids can earn service hours (graduation requirement). That’s it! Can you even believe it??? I felt like I was blissfully forgetting something all weekend.

On Saturday morning, I met my friend Jamie for a long walk and, as usual, we attempted to solve all the problems of the world. 😊 I think we did a pretty good job, but I forgot to take a picture.
We all hung out at home for a while and it was HOT! We decided to check on the pool and cool off a bit.

I swung by Starbucks on the way home and tried this new drink called a Sunset Cooler. It was refreshing and delicious but it was really sweet.

Then we went to Jeff’s parents house to see all the cousins. It was good to see them and we all had a great night. Jeff was able to join us after work so that was great! (No pictures, oops!)
Sunday morning Jeff and I went on our weekly grocery store date. It was a good one and our meal plan is ready to go this week.

Jack and I headed to the pool after groceries and it was a beautiful day to be poolside! We got a ton done and headed home for the afternoon.

I spent some time reading on the deck with a delicious drink and got us all ready for the week.

We ended the weekend watching some of Luke’s buddies in a play! Winnie the Pooh Kids was so great and he had the best time watching his friends!

I have a full week of blogging planned for this week, but we’ll see where the week takes us. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

Looks like a great weekend. We had blank squares on the calendar too! I almost didn’t know what to do with myself 😂 our pool opens Wednesday and I can’t wait. Have a great week!
A blank calendar is always a good start for a nice weekend. Thanks for linking up!
We almost always have blank squares on our calendar (except for Saturday morning karate). My husband tends to work most weekends too so we like to keep everything as wide open as possible.
Sounds like such a relaxing weekend- yeah!
