Happy Wednesday! I am linking up with Anne to share what I am currently arranging, craving, discussing, enjoying, and preparing. These prompts are a perfect little glimpse into what’s going on around here. I am hoping to get up a little earlier and start my day today with a run/walk around our neighborhood. I have a good sized list of things I am planning on accomplishing during the day. So here’s to a sunny, productive Wednesday! I hope you have one too!
Arranging…
All the furniture! We have all the furniture moved into its new room and now I’m arranging and rearranging furniture, things in cabinets and on shelves, and where we keep categories of things now (mail, school papers, etc.). I’m also mentally arranging what pictures are going to hang in the newly arranged rooms.
For reference, our living room used to have all the office furniture, the Legos, a big comfy chair, and our library. We moved the office furniture into the old dining room. The dining room is now in our old family room. We enclosed our deck into a family room and moved the basement couch upstairs and the old family room couch down to the basement. We also moved another comfy chair into the living room. Luke and I are going back and forth about the name of the living room. I call it the library and he calls it the Lego room.
Craving…
For about 5 months, I was so good at avoiding candy and sweets and at limiting my Diet Coke consumption. Well, as soon as the kitchen was covered in daily dust and kids sports picked up, I stopped focusing as much on that. So I am currently craving Diet Coke and all the sweets. My favorites are Reese’s peanut butter eggs, Nerds jellybeans, and Sour Patch Kids bunnies. I won’t turn down M&M eggs either.
Discussing…
Summer plans! We have started seriously discussing what we want to do this summer. We have a week at the beach planned and that’s all we’ve confirmed. I have a bunch of ideas for other plans – day trips, mini-week trips, and some camps, but nothing is firm.
Enjoying…
This spring weather!! All of this sunshine makes me so happy! Easter was GORGEOUS! I’ve been catching sunrises and sunsets and they make me so happy!!
Preparing…
A real deal meal plan and grocery list!! I’ve been trying to work through our freezer and pantry so I’ve done quick little trips to the store to supplement. I’ve also spent 30-45 min every afternoon cleaning up the construction dust. Thankfully, the work is finished inside and the dust is slowing down. This gives me more time to make a good dinner and prepare something for lunch the next day before we dash off to a practice.
That’s what I’ve been up to. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!!

A sunny, productive day that starts with a nice walk/run? Perfection! And I say when life gets chaotic, we do need our Diet Coke… Reese’s eggs are quite welcome too 😉 Hope you enjoy the newly arranged rooms once the dust settles – you’re to the fun part of the process, in my opinion!
Cadbury mini eggs are my kryptonite this time of year. And I absolutely love the good vibes this springtime weather is providing!
