Happy Thursday! I am excited to be talking about spring fashion with you today! Yesterday was a little sneak peek into what spring is like. It was still a little chilly but oh so sunny!

1 – What are your spring must have pieces?
I love bright sandals for the spring. I also love to go heavy on my Lilly and bright colors to welcome in spring.
2 – What are your spring must have accessories?
Cora’s Den earrings and necklaces, of course! I love the bright colors and fun charms or monograms!! I have a 10% off code if you’d like to brighten up your jewelry collection, too – SUNSHINEANDBOOKS10
3 – How do you transition your wardrobe to spring?
My cropped or ankle pants can take me from winter to spring. I tend to keep my cardigans all year long. They are mostly cotton and light enough to layer in the spring. I just swap out my long sleeve shirts for short sleeve shirts and tank tops.
I also stop wearing tights and boots and move into flats and sandals with my dresses.
4 – What are your favorite colors to wear in spring?
All of them!! I tend to wear a ton of colors all year long, but I really wear them all in the spring and summer.
5 – Any spring fashion advice?
Go bright!! Just do it!!
6 – Do you change your makeup in spring?
I don’t change much. My makeup is pretty low key – gold eyeliner, mascara, eye shadow, a little bronzer/powder, and lip gloss.
7 – Do you change your skincare in spring?
I don’t change it much. Usually in late winter, I start using a self tanner more regularly. I feel better with a little tan, even if its fake. I also like how the bright spring colors look with a little tan.
I am not sure how much I’ll change my skin care this spring. I just started using BeautyCounter products and I’m not sure how or if I’ll change it during the spring.
8 – Do you have a favorite spring scent?
Peonies are my favorite flowers and they are spring bloomers. I love they way they smell. I also love the smell of cut grass the first few times Jeff cuts the grass. It’s so wonderful!
9 – Best budget tips to update your wardrobe?
Try to mix and match what you already have. I love to pull new tops and bottoms together or add a different pair of shoes to change up an outfit.
Add bright colored shirts or tanks to update a darker pants/cardigan from winter to spring.
10 – Do you think you will be wearing dresses this spring?
I hope so! I love wearing dresses and didn’t wear many last spring and summer. We are back in school four days a week and I have been trying to wear my real clothes.
That’s how I do spring fashion – bright colors, cardigans, and fun jewelry. See you back here tomorrow for Friday Favorites! Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

Yeah! I couldn’t wait to see al of your Lilly! So so beautiful and your Cora’s Den earrings go so well as do the bright pink sandals- LOVE- thanks for linking up Sarah 🙂
I knew you’d be all in on the Lilly! Loved yours too!! Thanks for hosting!
I love all your Lilly! Peonies are my favorite. I can usually only find them at Trader Joe’s in the spring. I’m a big fan of cardigans too …especially at school because I never know if my room will be cool or warm.
Thanks! I feel like cardigans are part of teacher uniforms because school temperatures are so unpredictable since they are so big.
I laughed at “Go bright! Just do it!” I’ll try to remember that this spring. And I love the smell of freshly cut grass too. It’s the best!
You should! Bright colors always make me smile!
I love a cardigan and jewelry too! Great budget idea to mix and match outfits.
You look beautiful in all your bright colors! I may have to try a little more bold colors! I love your Lilly too. I don’t own anything but am a fan.
You should! Everyone can wear bright colors!!
“Real clothes” made me smile.
Then you know exactly what I mean! Lol!
SO many pretty dresses and colors. All your outfits in this post really do remind me of spring/summer.
Thanks!
