Happy Friday!! I am so happy to see this Friday! We’ve had a great week, but I am ready for a weekend. So, so ready!! I’m linking up with Andrea and Erika to share my favorites from the week.
Favorite 1: SUNSHINE!! Look at this amazing sunset that we witnessed while Luke was finishing up soccer practice!! Could this be any more beautiful??? No filter needed here!
Our dining room and deck are now flooded with sunshine!! Our neighbor was worried about three of their trees getting to heavy on top so they had them removed. We decided to have our walnut tree cut down at the same time because it is less than 8 feet away, would look ridiculous standing by itself, and the walnuts are a mess in the yard. I love how our view has opened up even more! All that sunshine 😍
Favorite 2: BLUE LIGHT GLASSES!! I got a 3 pack of blue light glasses on Amazon last spring and we are all wearing them every day. The boys look so cute in them! I’m not sure I love Jack wearing them because he looks so much older!
Favorite 3: BRAVES!! Jeff and the boys are all in on the Braves. They were so excited yesterday when the Braves swept the series!!
Favorite 4: REAL CLOTHES! I had to go to an in person meeting this week and then went to school afterwards so I figured I should wear real teacher clothes. It was definitely a casual Friday outfit, but I got dressed in work clothes. It felt pretty good!
Favorite 5: JACK! Jack is loving his new baseball team! He’s getting so many opportunities to pitch and it’s pretty cool!
Favorite 6: LUKE! This summer Luke was combing his hair all the time, but not any more. His bed head game is strong! My mom always said, “there’s nothing stronger than a curl” and she is right! There was no fighting that curl this week. 😂
Favorite 7: BOOKS! I can’t wait to get my hands on Kristin Cavallari’s new cookbook. It’s gluten and refined sugar free. Jeff is gluten free and I am always looking for yummy recipes that we all can eat. It just came out on Tuesday and I am so excited about next Tuesday’s Tuesday Book Release Day. Be sure to come back on 10/6!!
Favorite 8: PODCASTS!! I started listening to Even the Rich and it is so good! There are 6 seasons and in each season they go in depth into one topic. They are so good. Season 1 is 5 episodes and called From Diana to Meghan. Season 2 is 6 episodes on the Murdochs. Season 3 is 5 episodes on Beyoncé and Jay-Z. Season 4 is 6 episodes on the Gettys. Season 5 is 5 episodes on the House of Versace. Season 6 is 3 episodes so far on Chappaquiddick. They do have some bad words in them, but the hosts are hilarious and the podcast is so interesting!
