Happy Friday! This has been a super fun week full of birthday fun, but I sure am glad it’s Friday! I’m linking up with Andrea and Erika to share my favorites with you! Let’s get to it!
Favorite 1: FORTY!! I’m going to do a birthday post next week, but here are some highlights from the day! It was so fun!
Favorite 2: BASEBALL!! Jack got to pitch last night and he did so well! He pitched 4 innings and just might wake up with a tired arm this morning.
Favorite 3: PANDEMIC PREP! I know that things are getting better out there, but I always like to be stocked up. I hit our BJ’s wholesale club this week and scored these great finds!!
Favorite 4: GOLF!! The kids are doing After School Golf again this year. But since they aren’t in school, it is at the course and better than ever!! Jack and Luke loved it but I didn’t get a picture of Jack.
Favorite 5: SUMMER!! You know I am a summer girl at heart! I celebrated summer until the very last second. Sunshine earrings, flowers on my shirt, and a summer workout tank.
Favorite 6: JEWELRY!! I am loving my Cora’s Den monogram necklaces this week! Some of my kindergarteners noticed them this week so I taught them about monograms AND books. Win win in my book!
Favorite 7: SUNSHINE!! I think the healthiest thing I’ve done during work at home is reading outside while I eat my lunch every day. The kids are playing in the yard and I move our glider into the sunshine. It is a perfect refresh and reset in the middle of the day.
Favorite 8: PARKING SPOT! It may seem a little weird, but I have a favorite parking spot at Target. I’m not a great driver and I’m really not so great at backing up. So when I can get this spot, it makes my day!

Yesterday, I got to go to the podiatrist to pick up orthotics. Nothing says getting older like orthotics!

Oh Happy Birthday again- cannot wait to see your post but looks like you had a fun day- seriously hope you are not done celebrating either- 40 is a big one and so fun to celebrate for more than one day! Happy birthday! I always try to find a pull through spot when out driving even if it means I have to walk further since I don’t like having to back up either. I think I’m a pretty good driver but I don’t have a whole lot of confidence in my driving.
Happy birthday! I actually loved turning forty – I felt more comfortable with who I was and cared less about what people thought. I have been reading outside at lunch, too. I don’t love driving either so I can relate. I always pull forward in parking lots so I don’t back out!
It must have been your lucky birthday week to find a pack of those Chlorox wipes. I haven’t seen them in a store since March!
