Happy Monday! I’m here with Holly sharing some fun from our weekend. I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday!

Before we get to our weekend fun, I have two big happy birthdays to send out. My sister and her husband are celebrating birthdays today. Happy birthday Annie and Zach!!

I hope you enjoy that picture because there aren’t going to be many more in this post. I completely forgot to take pictures this weekend! Oops! We spent so much time outside this weekend and it was lovely!

On Friday, Luke had his final Shooting Stars of the season. He was paired with a much older athlete this time and had a great time. Luke has so much fun playing soccer with everyone there, no matter who the athletes and partners are. It was trophy night, which made it super special. There was so much joy on that soccer field Friday night! ❤️

Jeff went to the high school football game and Jack went to a friends’ house. They got home pretty late but both had a great evening.

On Saturday, we slept in a bit but got moving around 8 am. I took the boys and some of their swim friends to the big team meeting for swim team at 930. While they were in the team meeting, I picked up Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch. We’ve never been there, but it was delicious! From there, I met Jeff to drop off Luke for his soccer game and took Jack to the golf course.

Luke’s soccer team tied 0-0, but he had quite the cheering section. All four of our parents and Jeff and I were there to cheer him on. Then I dashed to pick up Jack at the course and we met Jeff and Luke at home. Jeff had to go to a reunion for work Saturday night but my parents came to pick us up so we could celebrate my dad’s birthday.

We are in the middle of fall birthday season over here with five birthdays in 25 days! We went to one of our favorite restaurants and had good food, wine, and dessert before heading to bed pretty early.

On Sunday, I made a big egg casserole for breakfast with leftovers for the week. Jack had his final work shift at the pool. All the guards were there and they got the place ready for winter. I met my friend, Jodi, for a long walk. It’s becoming a weekly thing and I am loving seeing her each weekend to catch up and solve the problems of the world.

I spent the rest of the day making lists, talking to my college roommate, and reading on the deck. It was an absolutely gorgeous day!! I made some taco meat for lunches this week and got ready for dinner early in the day. I made a grocery list and set grocery pickup for this week. I went to bed feeling ready for this week! I love this saying and try to make my Sundays work so that the week goes smoothly.

I hope you have a week of content, too! Our week has quite a few late nights, but I am going to make it work with easy dinners and a bunch of lists. Don’t forget to link up with Holly and me below if you blogged today. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!
