Happy Friday! This was a full week and we squeezed a bunch of fun into it. I have some favorites to share, so let’s get to it!
Favorite 1: LUKE! Luke turned 12 this week and we turned it into a two day celebration. We went out to dinner on Tuesday night. He picked a Japanese steakhouse. We hadn’t been in a long time and it was so fun. The food was delicious, too. On Wednesday, we celebrated all day. He started with birthday balloons,
built the Millennium Falcon,
enjoyed munchkins for breakfast,
celebrated with a friend and his lacrosse team,
and ended the night with cake and grandparents.
Luke got this sweatshirt for his 7th birthday and refuses to give it up. He insists it still fits and it makes me giggle that he loves it so much!
We also found out that Luke was named student of the month at school!
Favorite 2: SUNSHINE!! The weather has been amazing this week! We had our school fun run on Thursday and it was perfect!
I’ve been outside every evening for a run or a walk and it feels great!
Favorite 3: WORKOUTS! I am keeping with my goals of morning workouts and run or walk in the evening. I am still in the sore/tired phase but I know it is worth it.
Favorite 4: BOOKS! I’ve been reading a bunch this week. I haven’t read much of my adult books, but I am cruising through children’s books. I have been spending my time on the deck in my beach chair or deck chair and soaking in the sun with these great books.
Favorite 5: SPRING CLOTHES! It may feel a little summery (woohoo!) but I am breaking out my spring clothes. I love the bright colors, white jeans, skorts, and dresses. It is so lovely!

I am looking forward to a great weekend cheering on Jack and Luke on the field, the course, and in the pool. The schedule also looks like we are going to all be home for dinner both Saturday and Sunday night. I love that! Have a great weekend full of sunshine and books!
I’m glad Luke had such a great birthday…& student of the month…awesome! Hayden has a sweatshirt he continues to wear that doesn’t fit 😆 he won’t give it up. I love you tie dye outfit. So fun. Have a great weekend!

Luke had an amazing week and that is some serious Lego action. I love the mint green dress with the ruffle cap sleeve.

Happy birthday to Luke! It sounds like a wonderful celebration. The sweatshirt did make me chuckle. My girls have clothes that they love so much and won’t part with them.
I love your spring clothes. I think it will be a few more weeks until I am in spring dresses.
Luke’s birthday sounds like a perfect celebration! My middle son gets like that with clothes and will hold onto them forever. You have so many cute spring pieces; I’ve slowly started breaking out a few of mine but often have to pair them with jackets or sweaters.
