Happy Friday! I feel like I keep saying this, but oh my goodness has this been a week! There have been some great things and some not quite as great things, but I still have some favorites to share with you.
Favorite 1: GLOVES!! My number one favorite this week is gloves! Our dishwasher broke on Sunday 😩 so I have been washing a lot of dishes! These green gloves are old but the Williams Sonoma dishwashing gloves cannot be beat! My hands have stayed dry and there are no dish pan hands over here.
I have three big cracks on the tips of my fingers and they HURT!! I am trying to heal them with lots of Aquaphor and Working Hands. I used rubber gloves, finger cots (similar), and cotton gloves to try to get my hands back in shape.
Favorite 2: WEATHER!! After a freezing Saturday, our weather has been so much better this week! I didn’t even wear a coat yesterday! The sunrises and sunsets have been so beautiful too! It is amazing what a little sunshine and warmer temperatures will do for outlook!
Favorite 3: DISHWASHER! So my old dishwasher isn’t my favorite right now because it abandoned us!! However, it has made me appreciate every single time I ran it. I went to Lowe’s this week and tried about 20 to make sure that my beloved Swig tumblers and our daily Gatorade bottles will fit in the top and the bottom.
Favorite 4: VALENTINE’S DAY! I love my Valentine’s Day outfits and have been wearing them this month. I have three more school days until Valentine’s Day and I’m not sure which ones I’ll wear again.
Favorite 5: JEFF!! Jeff and I had some very responsible dates this weekend. It was so great to spend some time just the two of us, and there was an added bonus of getting things done. We went on a walk, went to Trader Joe’s and out to breakfast, and went to Home Depot to look at dishwashers. If that’s not romance, I don’t know what is!🥰
Favorite 6: BOYS AND SPORTS! I enjoyed watching Jack and Luke do their thing this week. I got to go to two of Jack’s basketball games and Luke’s soccer practice. I really enjoy watching and cheering Jack and Luke play sports.
Favorite 7: FRIENDS!! I had a very small Declare It Day celebration last weekend. I am working on my Declare It Day post so be on the lookout for it next week.

If you need me this weekend, I will be at a swim meet. Both boys are swimming, in different sessions of course, and I’m on swim meet duty. The bonus is that means Jeff’s on dishwashing duty. Don’t worry, I share those fabulous green gloves. I have a bunch of reading, some school work, and some blogging to do while I wait for the boys to swim. Have a great weekend full of sunshine and books!

Hooray for a new dishwasher! We only got a dishwasher for the first time when we renovated our kitchen nearly two years ago. Before that we only ever hand washed everything. I couldn’t live without one now! Your Valentine’s Day outfits are so cute! Have a great weekend 😊
