Friday afternoon was gorgeous! Jack went to a local baseball tournament with some friends to cheer on some other friends while Luke and I went to the high school football game. We all had a blast!
The kids didn’t have any activities on Saturday and it was lovely! Often when the kids’ sports or activities overlap, I take Luke and Jeff takes Jack. So we did the opposite on Saturday. Jack and I went to the bookstore and the driving range. I love to support our local indie bookstore, but I’m struggling to find books that Jack wants to read. So we headed to Barnes and Noble. Well that was a giant bust! The store is moving on Tuesday so there was hardly any inventory! We’re trying another B&N today. Wish us luck!
Jack and I were both ready to cheer on JMU against Georgia Southern Saturday. Unfortunately the Dukes lost, but we are ready to cheer them on to a win next Saturday!
I washed our CSA pickup from last week and this week. Apples anyone??
Jeff and I had a Halloween party on Saturday night. I picked our costumes last Halloween after Jack and his buddy dressed up last year. I think we nailed it!
Luke had a soccer game on Sunday afternoon. I joined BeReal and it’s so fun! I love to see what people are doing with the front and back cameras. Today I caught one of Luke’s throw ins.
We dashed to Jack’s golf tournament when the game ended. It was the first time I could get to Jack’s golf this season and I was so happy to be there!
We grabbed dinner on the way home. Then it was the usual Sunday evening hustle to get ready for a great week. I love to get in bed on Sunday evening, paint my nails, watch a show or football, and read to end the weekend. It’s so relaxing!
