Hello Monday – 6/6/22

Happy Monday! I’m here with Holly sharing some fun from our weekend. I hope you’ll link up with us for Hello Monday!

We had a great weekend. It was low key and outside, which is just what I needed. Luke and I had our last media class together on Friday.

Jack wanted to go to the pool with some friends on Friday after school so I dropped him off and came home to exercise and get dinner ready. I went to pick him up, but he wasn’t ready to go so I enjoyed the evening and caught up with some friends.

On Saturday, I ran some errands and then we had family time at the high school track. I love that!

We headed to the pool when it opened and stayed until it closed at 4. The weather was absolutely perfect!

Jeff and I headed back to the pool around 6 for the crab feast. I haven’t had crabs yet this summer and they were delicious!

Sunday morning started early with Luke’s last soccer game of the season and with this team. He’s headed to a different soccer club next year and it was bittersweet. They played well and grew a ton this year!

I am working hard to read as many Black-Eyed Susan book award nominees as I can for my Battle of the Books selection meeting this week. Recently I finished these and they are good! I’m still working on Willowdeen.

I spent Sunday afternoon at home getting ready for our busy week. It was hard to stay away from the pool because it was GORGEOUS, but I will be better served by staying home and getting ready for the week.

I hope you had a great weekend! We have 5 days of school this week and a half day on Monday before it is officially SUMMER!! Be sure to link up with Holly and me if you blogged today. Have a great week full of sunshine and books!

Oh it does look like beautiful pool weather! We spent out weekend at a karate tournament on Saturday and kayaking on Sunday so no complaints here either.

What a fun weekend and your skies looked like ours – the most beautiful blue and the temps in the low 80s. I am sorry you still have so much school left! Ha! I know it’s not much, but at this time of year it seems to last for an eternity. Have a great week and you are so right about the time spent on Sundays!
