A t-shirt a quick snip! Our field day is rescheduled for today and it is going to be HOT HOT HOT! I’m talking real feel in the 100s. Our whole staff is wearing tie dye shirts that look a lot like an old staff shirt that we have. I made the t-shirt into a tank top to change into in the afternoon.
I am currently taking…
Every media book I can get my hands on. My school library has almost 11,000 books and I need to get them all back and in the correct shelf order by June 13th. I am tracking down books in the lost in found, lockers, desks, buses, and everywhere else they could possibly be. I tell kids and families that media books are very sneaky and tend to hide under car seats, in couches, on bookshelves, under beds, and in kitchen cabinets.

I am currently trying…
A new workout app. I’ve been doing the Faster Way to Fat Loss for a few years and I love it. It has taught me how to lift heavier weights and I am much stronger because of that. However, it’s pricy and I don’t think I use the meal plan enough to pay for all of it. I’ve been hearing about Madeline Moves or Moves by Madeline and I am going to give her app a try when school ends. I’ll be sure to let you know what I think.

Eight more work outfits! I have been working on wearing all the clothes in my closet. My school is pretty relaxed about teacher wardrobes, but I want to wear some dresses and cute tops before the school year ends. It’s so tempting to throw on some school appropriate athletic wear but I know I can wear that every day for the next three months if I want to.
I’m off to cheer on the boys for field day and a band concert! Have a great day full of sunshine and books!
All the end of the year activities are so fun but we keep saying how we are still getting used to it all coming back- so fun and yet funny and crazy too! Love your Lilly as always 🙂

I love the t-shirt made into a tank top! Do you have instructions on how to alter the t-shirt or maybe a link to a DIY video?
I’ll find the video that inspired me but I really just cut along the seam of the sleeve and made the collar a little bigger by cutting outside of the ribbing. Then I used part of the sleeve to make the ties.

Love the tie dye shirt. So fun! My media specialist has been sending daily emails with what’s missing from our library 😂at least the number is dropping
