Happy Tuesday! I’m here with Holly sharing some fun from our weekend. I hope you’ll link up with us today!

We had a fun weekend and I enjoyed it! I had so much fun enjoying it, that I didn’t take many pictures at all!

We had a quiet night at home on Friday night. Jack was feeling so much better and the rest of us are staying healthy. We all went to bed pretty early after a long week. We had to leave for Luke’s soccer tournament around 6:45 am and it was a great morning of soccer.

Luke’s cheering section included some grandparents and the three of us.

It was cool enough for leggings and a tank top and these green ones are perfect to cheer on Luke’s team.

I went to the pool for a little bit in the afternoon. The kids and Jeff stayed home. It was opening day and you can’t have perfect attendance if you don’t come the first day!

One of Luke’s buddies had a birthday party and the whole family went. It was nice to catch up with our friends and the kids had a blast! This shirt is my mentality from fall to spring!

We were up early Sunday morning for another soccer game. Jack stayed home and went to a friend’s house. Luke’s team lost in the very last minutes so they were finished in the tournament. It was a great game, just ended the wrong way.

We all went to the pool for a while. Jeff and Jack left around 4 to go play golf while Luke and I stayed for a while longer. Another early to bed night after a long, fun sunny day!

On Monday morning, Jack had some studying to do to make sure everything was ready to head back to school today. I was going to go to the parade in my hometown with my parents but I resumed my job as a middle school tutor instead.

We headed to the pool a little early so I could get some pictures to update our website before too many people got there. It’s a good thing I did because the pool was PACKED!! Jeff played golf with some guys from the pool and met us there. We stayed until 5 and it was so busy all day. Jeff picked up carryout on the way home. By that time he got home with dinner, the kids were already showered and in pjs.

We ended the night watching the national park show on Netflix. It is a great show with fantastic videography!!

I read a bunch this weekend! I am still working on the children’s books for our Battle of the Books selection committee, and I am almost finished Meant to Be by Emily Giffin. It’s great and comes out today! I know I’m breaking my own Summer Beach Reads rules by reading it before school is out. I did read a bunch by the pool this weekend so it’s ok.

Luke has field day on Wednesday and it’s going to be so fun! Jack has his field day next Tuesday while Luke has a field trip to the middle school. I hope the brothers get to see each other. We have TEN days left of school and are so ready for summer. With ten days left, this may be my kind of drinking tracker…

I won’t drink that much Diet Coke, but I do like to get a new Swig to start the pool season. My sister recommended the confetti tumbler. How cute is it?? It has a little sparkle to it, too.
