Happy Friday! We had a busy week with a bunch of fun! The kids played golf, soccer, basketball, backyard baseball, and swam. I read a great book and met an awesome author virtually. Let’s get to these favorites.

Favorite 1: GOLF!! Jack got an extra week of junior league golf this week. I thought it was over, but they sent out tee times for another week. Jack and his friend have had the best time playing together every week. It’s so fun to watch!

Luke and I went to watch Jack play last weekend. It is usually a Jack and Jeff thing, but I wanted to see what it was all about. Jack has fun playing but it felt so serious. The course and the sky were gorgeous!

Favorite 2: SOCCER!! Luke played a chilly Sunday game and played well.

He also two great practices this week. I usually walk/run in the parking lot for a good bit of practice but I caught him taking a few corners. He was loving it!

These earrings helped me cheer Luke on!

And these earrings worked some magic on the wild, full moon days. I told my classes that if we got everything done that we needed to, I would turn out the lights and they could see the earrings and the stars on my ceiling glow in the dark. The kids were so motivated and excited to see them! They really glow! 🤩

Favorite 4: SUNSHINE!! We had the best sunrises and sunsets this week.

This full moon was beautiful even if it made everyone just a little crazy.

Favorite 5: BOOKS!! I read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid and I LOVED IT!! It was such a great story. I highly recommend it!!

We were so excited to welcome the creator of the Max Meow series to our school on Thursday morning. John Gallagher was so engaging and the kids cannot wait to read the third book in his graphic novel series!

Favorite 6: RUNNING!! It’s been a while since I listed running as a favorite but I have been adding more running to my walks these days. I missed running but it’s hard when you take a year and a half off. I ran with Jodi on Sunday morning and that was so wonderful! I ran a lap/walked a lap in the parking lot during the boys practices this week and felt good.

I am excited for our weekend! We are going to see some of my college roommates and it has been way too long! I’m looking forward to enjoying the beautiful weather. Have a great day full of sunshine and books!
