Happy Friday! This has been the craziest week. The weather has been all over the place, our routine is not really happening, and we are still in birthday season.
Favorite 1: OUR WEEK! I can’t tell you how many times my sister and I called or texted each other to ask how old we were. Annie and I are only 51 weeks apart so for one week each year we are the same age.
Favorite 2: BIRTHDAY!! Yesterday was my birthday and we got a day off school. It was raining so hard and some roads were flooded so we had a “flood day”, like a snow day. By 10:30 the sun was shining and it turned into a beautiful day. I spent a good part of the afternoon on my driveway in a beach chair reading.
I always take a birthday picture with the boys. 😍
Favorite 3: BOOKS! I finished Yoga Pant Nation by Laurie Gelman yesterday. It did not disappoint! I loved Class Mom and You’ve Been Volunteered, too!
Favorite 4: CORA’S DEN!! My love for Cora’s Den is no secret and it runs deep! I love her bubblegum bead necklaces and so does a sweet kindergartener in my school. I’ve been wearing them every day since she asked me to.
One more thing to love about my sweet friend and Katie at Cora’s Den. Jodi wanted to order some fun earrings for my birthday but didn’t want to duplicate something I already have. She contacted Katie to make sure I didn’t have the earrings and Katie went back through my order history. That is a great friend and great customer service! ❤️
Favorite 5: CONCERTS WITH FRIENDS!! We went to Hall and Oates on Saturday night and it was a blast! We danced and sang and had the best time with friends!
Favorite 6: SUMMER!! Even though Wednesday was the first day of fall, I will always live by Lilly Pulitzer’s brilliant words!
Tuesday Book Release Day – I told you it was a crazy week around here.
We have a pretty low key weekend planned. Jeff has a bunch of work to do in the yard on Saturday. We let it go last fall because of all the construction and are trying to get it back in shape. Luke has soccer and Jack has golf on Sunday. Have a great weekend full of sunshine and books!

Somehow, it’s the only book I’ve read this month but I enjoyed it. That’s so cool that you and your sister are so close in age. So fun! I hope you have a great weekend
