Happy Tuesday! I am excited to be here sharing a new book with you!

I finished That Summer by Jennifer Weiner at the beach last week. I am not sure if it was the book or the company, but I didn’t read very much on vacation. That is super weird for me! Even when I was a kid and teenager, I would pack a big stack of books when we went to the beach. I only read one complete book, That Summer, on our trip. It’s a little longer book (432 pages), but it didn’t really make me feel like I couldn’t put it down.

We had a pretty productive day on Monday. I made orthodontist appointments at 7:50 am and we kept on rolling. We hit the grocery store for produce and lunch meat. I went to work for a meeting with my principal. We went to the library. We got our Walmart grocery pickup order. The kids played outside with our neighbors all day. I caught up on my giant to do list and emails. It was a really good catch up day.

August seems to be a slower publishing time for books I can’t wait to read, but it is a great time for kids’ books to come out.
