Not Just A Mom – 3/8/21

Happy Monday! I am sharing my favorite phone apps today. I am excited for this link up topic with Not Just A Mom because I am nosy curious to see what apps other people are using and how they use them. Let’s get to the apps.

Linking up with Jen, Joanne, and the girls

My phone screen can be described as partially organized. I have a bunch of folders for apps, but my most used apps sit outside of the folders on my first two pages.

On my main page, I use Safari/Chrome a bunch of course. I also use Team Snap at least once a day. Most of the kids’ sports teams use Team Snap and I love how it compiles one schedule for all the teams. It makes my life so much easier. I use Messenger to text with a few groups of friends making it another favorite. I use My Fitness Pal to track my food/macros and it makes it so easy!

On the second page, I use Word Press all the time. I also love the Ring app. It’s great to see everything that’s happening in front of my house. In the two folders at the top are some more favorites. I love Canva for making graphics. I also love the Amazon app (perhaps a little too much) and the other places we order from frequently – Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, Jersey Mikes, Target, Dominos, etc. I use the Faster Way app every day for my workout, but I usually use it on my iPad.

I love my book apps. In this folder my absolute favorites are Goodreads and Audible. I track everything I read on Goodreads. I also use it to add books to my want to read list. I don’t listen to a ton of books, but when I do it’s on Audible. Luke uses Audible all the time, too.

We have a lot of fun with the photography apps. Reface can be hilarious. It lets you swap your face with celebrity memes. I love PicCollage and Boomerang.

I use social media all the time, probably too much. These are my apps of choice.

Here is where I keep my apps for staying active. I love the Peloton app. I’m not using it now, but the classes are some fo my favorites! I love the free version of Down Dog for yoga at home. I love all of the options that I can pick with it.

I keep all of my music options here, except Spotify. Spotify stays on my first page because that’s what we are using for music these days. I love the Alexa app because it’s easy to make an announcement to communicate with everyone at home. Sometimes I use the free Pandora option for music. This is where I keep Podcasts, too. My favorites are What Should I Read Next, Another Mother Runner, Smash Boom Best, and Even the Rich.

So, what apps do you use? I can’t wait to see what everyone uses on their phone to keep their lives straight! I’ll be back tomorrow with two fun book posts – Tuesday Book Release Day and Show Us Your Books! Have a great day full of sunshine and books!!

I think I need to look into more reading apps… I didn’t even think of using apps for reading.

We use many of the same apps 🙂 what’s the good day app? I’ve finally gotten into the Goodreads app! I used to keep a list on my phone of what I wanted to read but I see how good reads can come in handy!

So organized! I am learning so much linking up with everyone today– I have zero folders on my phone as I didn’t even know that was a ‘thing!’
