Happy Friday! I am so glad it’s Friday! I am ready for a normal weekend and week next week. In the past 10 days, I’ve worked 4 days – 2 virtual and 2 in person, spent a ton of time in my car, shoveled the driveway twice, had an ice storm and a snow squall, and a sunny 60 degree day. Even though it’s been a little wacky, I have some favorites to share!

Favorite 1: VACCINES!! Jeff and I were fortunate to get our second dose of the COVID vaccine this week. He felt fine afterwards, but it took me down! I was shivering and achy with a headache all night, but Tylenol really helped when I finally took it. I went to work the next day, but came home and took a long nap before going to bed early.

Favorite 2: SUNSHINE!! Oh my goodness, the weather on Wednesday had me ready for spring! The sun was shining and the snow was melting. It was about 60 degrees and we went for two lovely walks.

Favorite 3: BOOKS!! I am a book reader and don’t tend to listen to many books, but I did choose to listen to The Dutch House because I’ve heard such great things about Tom Hanks’ narration. It did not disappoint!! I loved it and highly recommend the audio version.

Favorite 4: GREEN!! I ordered the new Brooks St. Patrick’s Day sneakers this year and I love them. I think they look so springy and will be perfect to wear all spring long. I put them together with this fun green Cora’s Den monogram necklace. Katie and the Cora’s Den team are so great and will help you design anything you want. Favorite 5: VITAMIN C!! I started using this vitamin C serum from BEAUTYCOUNTER and I am loving how it makes my skin look and feel.

Favorite 6: WORK!! Between Jeff’s surgery and snow days, I have only worked 4 days in the past week and a half. As nice as it was to know that I didn’t have to worry about school, it was also lovely to turn my computer on to this beach scene. I really do love my job and it was fun to see the kiddos today!

We have a pretty normal weekend with a few practices for the boys. It’s supposed to rain both days so I’m not sure what we are going to do. Hopefully, I’ll get to read a bunch and work ahead on a few things for school. See you back here on March 1st! Have a great weekend full of sunshine and books!
