Hello Monday – 2/1/21

Happy Monday! Happy February!

January felt like it had 50 days, but I have a feeling February is going to fly by. The kids are off school today for a teacher work day today and President’s Day in two weeks.

On Friday afternoon, Luke and I dashed into the grocery store to get some gluten free Oreos. The store was crowded and crazy! Then, we came home to a puddle of water on the kitchen floor. Luckily it was a quick and easy fix and our amazing neighbor replaced a gasket for us.

These are DELICIOUS!!

On Saturday I took Jack to baseball practice and went to hang out with my parents for a while. Jeff took Luke to soccer and swim. Once everyone got home, I popped over to our local bookstore to pick up a blind date book. I haven’t opened it yet, but I’ll let you know when I do.

How cute are these mint green leggings? They’re from Target and perfect for running around town like I did on Saturday.
How cute is this display! A Likely Story’s instagram post sucked me right in!

It started snowing around 8 am on Sunday and hasn’t stopped yet. The weather apps and forecasters keep saying we could see blizzard conditions sometime on Monday. Jack had an early basketball game. The kids played in the snow a few times and are very excited for all the snow tomorrow. We are in the 6-12 inches range, so we’ll see how it all goes tomorrow.

I finished this book! ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ ☀️ ☀️
The kids were moving snow and taking water with them to make an icy ramp in the cornfield.
Luke brought his chair and stool down from his room to watch tv. We have two comfy chairs in the family room right now. He was pretty comfy!
I started this book. I’m looking forward to it!
After we watched 60 minutes, Jeff went downstairs to watch tv and I ended my evening with the new Hallmark movie, Snowkissed, from Saturday night.

We’ll see what the weather brings today! Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

In some ways, I can’t believe it’s February already but some days in January did seem to drag on! I love the blind date book. We got some snow this morning…but not 6-12 inches! If you all have snow days, will it just be online learning ?

We’re in the 6-17″ range…. but that is quite a weird range so we’ll see! Meanwhile I am loving snuggling up with a good book.
