Happy Monday! We had a great long weekend and I’m linking up with Tanya to share it in pictures today.
Wednesday was beautiful and I needed to pick up our wine club order. It was the perfect day for Black Ankle!
The boys love the big rocks there. We probably could have stayed for hours!
We realized on Wednesday night that we hadn’t watched It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. So we had a Charlie Brown double feature Wednesday night.
Happy Thanksgiving!! Bloody Marys and the parade = perfection!!
😍 The Rockettes 😍
My dad, Jeff, and the boys played golf in the morning. We were supposed to have rain for most of the day, but it turned out to be a beautiful day!
All four of us got into the Thanksgiving spirit at some point in the day.
My mom is so funny – the turkey was feeling casual this year. Guess what, casual turkeys are still delicious!
I saw this on Facebook and it made me laugh out loud. It’s true and the old-fashioned way is the best!
On our way home from my parents, I realized that we didn’t take a family picture. Luke was sound asleep in the backseat but we woke up him to take a picture. My mom gives the boys Christmas pajamas on Thanksgiving so they were cozy.
I got up Friday morning and started decking the halls. I switched my phone charger, sneakers, pjs, watch and, and phone case for the Christmas ones.
I started this book this weekend. It’s so lovely! I will probably be finished it when you read this. I wonder what Christmas book I’ll read next…
Jack had another soccer game on Saturday. He’s having so much fun and he scored a goal! His buddy Ben is on the team and he scored, too!
After Jack’s soccer game, we ran some errands, including picking up 300 more lights for our 7 foot tree. I love lights on a tree and 1100 lights are so much better than the 800 we put on last year. 🤩
The smaller prelit trees that the boys have in their rooms and we have in the family room weren’t working. I decided to pull all the lights off and start with fresh strands that can be changed. It was not very fun, but I am so glad I did it. The trees will last so much longer now! And we can put on as many lights as we want!
How cute is this pullover?? My blogger friend Amy had it on a few weeks ago and I had to have it. She mentioned that she was going to monogram it and I jumped right on that. I ❤️ the monogram!! Thanks for the great idea Amy!
After a busy weekend of decking the halls, I am ready for another weekend day! We added some new decorations inside and outside and I can’t wait to share them with you. I hope you had a great weekend! Have a great day full of sunshine and Christmas books!
