Hello Monday – 10/26/20

Happy Monday! I could’ve used another Sunday this weekend to get everything else done on my to do list!! I’m linking up with Tanya and the girls to share our weekend.

How cute is this pumpkin shirt with the ruffles? It was an Amazon find and I’m loving it this year!
Friday afternoon was my first middle school pick up! It went well and Jack had a great day!!
On Friday afternoon, Luke was swimming and I was reading poolside again. I loved this book!
Luke had soccer pictures on Saturday. Cutie!
Try to smile with your eyes, Luke. 😂
When we got home from soccer on Saturday, Jeff and Jack went to play golf while Luke and I stayed home. I was determined to get these azaleas out of the ground!
That bugger did not want to come out!!
Look how big the root ball is!
After 3 hours of digging, sawing, hacking with an ax, and every neighbor walking by at least twice commenting on how long I’d been working on that little patch, I finished!!
On Sunday morning, I mulched and planted some mums in 45 degree rainy weather. I’m hoping to plant hostas there in the spring. They’re durable enough to withstand the basketball hoop action and pretty low maintenance.
I broke the ax!!
Sunday morning was chilly and rainy – perfect for a little brother iPad time.
It was so chilly that Jack even wore pants to go play golf. (I had to go buy pants Sunday morning because he always wears shorts)
This was the perfect tank top for Sunday afternoon. My shoulders are sore from all that hacking, digging, and pulling yesterday!
Luke and I baked a Halloween funfetti Bundt cake on Sunday. It was a delicious treat to end the weekend!
After I finished The Endless Beach, I hopped right into the next book in the series. I have a bunch of Christmas books on my list for this year, so I need to get cracking!

We have a big week here that ends with Halloween! Our neighborhood and county are allowing trick-or-treating with some extra precautions. I am planning on blogging all 5 days this week so be sure to come back for the fun – Tuesday Book Release Day, What’s Up Wednesday, Monthly Musings, and Friday Favorites! Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

I’m sort of all over the place with my reading this time of year too; some beach reads, some fall stuff, a few winter books.
