Happy Friday! We have officially made it through a five day week of distance learning! I will tell you – it is NO JOKE!! I’m linking up with Andrea and Erika to share my favorites.
Favorite 1: BASEBALL! Jack is playing with a new team this year and he’s having so much fun! He’s played three games this week and they won two of those games. He’s getting the opportunity to play first base and pitch this year.
Favorite 2: SOCCER! Luke’s team is playing soccer and he’s having so much fun! At Jack’s baseball game this week there was a cluster of trees that was perfect to dribble around. He kept himself busy for most of the evening. It was perfect.
Favorite 3: SWIM!! The boys are back in the pool for swim practice. They are working hard but catching up after taking the summer off.
I love swim because it is warm and I can sit and read while they are swimming!
Favorite 4: EARRINGS!! Last week was all about the necklaces for virtual learning, but this week is all about the earrings. I am loving Cora’s Den earrings and so are the kids!
Favorite 5: FRIENDS!! We are staying within our bubble of friends and it has been great for midday recess and right after school. The other day I looked out back and there were eight boys out there playing football. I’m also realizing that recess games are 70% arguing about the rules and 30% playing. 😂
While not an official favorite, because I haven’t seen anyone to celebrate yet, September is birthday season. Over the course of 25 days, we celebrate my dad’s, my sister’s, my brother-in-law’s, Jeff’s grandmother’s, my, and Jeff’s birthdays! It’s a lot of fun AND a lot of cake! Birthday season is officially open and we’ll be celebrating!

September Goals
I’m looking forward to our last weekend at the pool! Even though it’s chilly, I will be there on Sunday soaking up the sunshine! Jack is playing in a new golf league this weekend and he’s pretty excited. Luke has a soccer game on Saturday. Have a great weekend full of sunshine and books!
I can’t even imagine how tired you must be on Friday nights! You are my hero! Love all of the weekend fall fun…we will be dancing…playing soccer…taking walks oh and playing hockey here and I love the madness! Enjoy your weekend Sarah 🙂

Looks like a great week! September must be such a fun month with all the birthdays! And, at least one of the days I’m home with the kids, we meet friends for recess…& it’s funny to watch them all together. Have a great weekend!
