Happy Friday! I am so happy that it’s Friday! This was quite a week! I’m linking up with the girls to share my favorites from this week.

Favorite 1: THESE TWO!! Jack and Luke are my definite favorites this week! They have been crushing virtual school and I am so proud of them! These kids are amazing!! Jack has been pretty independent getting into his 7 daily Google Meets each day and completing his work. He’s asking for help when he needs it but is also willing to try new things to figure it out on his own.

Luke has done a great job too! He’s had a few computer issues and has handled it like a champ. At one point on Thursday I saw him using two computers, two mice, and figuring out how to attend his Google Meet and keep up with the teacher on his assigned work. I think we got it all figured out so we tried a Google Meet last night. Our faces show exactly how we are handling this!

Keeping up the praise on my guys. Jack had his best golf league score last night with at 38 for 9 holes!! Some of the par 5s are a little shorter than the ladies tees but this is how they play every week. He’s been practicing and working hard and it is paying off!

Luke had a 2+ hour long soccer practice on Thursday night and the first half was in the POURING rain!! I mean POURING!! He worked hard and had a ton of fun!

Favorite 2: SUNSHINE!! How can this sunset not make you think that tomorrow will be a better day? It instantly gives me hope and makes me smile!!

I got the Erin Condren seasonal surprise box a while ago and this is the box that it came in. I kept it because it just felt like me. Now I am using it to prop my computer up a little higher so the kids are seeing me at eye level in our Google Meets.

Favorite 3: FRIENDS!! Going back to school without seeing their school friends in real life is hard!! I’m trying to combat that let down by having lots of friend time between school and sports. Both boys have been playing with their buddies and it helps!

Favorite 4: NECKLACES!! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. These Cora’s Den necklaces are fantastic on a regular day, but they knock it out of the park in a virtual meeting! I love how they show up and kick my tops up a notch! 3 days, 3 necklaces this week!

Favorite 5: BOOKS!! I haven’t read much this week, but I did share some books on Tuesday that I am excited about. I can’t wait to read Jenna Bush Hager’s new book. I just love their family!

I’m still reading Majesty by Katharine McGee. It’s really good but I keep falling asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow. I was hoping the first week of virtual school wouldn’t be quite as exhausting as the first week of regular school, but it sure is. Hopefully I’ll get a bunch of reading in this weekend because I just got notice that another book I had on hold is available at the library now.
