Happy Friday! This week absolutely flew by. We had a few rainy days and evenings so we’ve been inside a little more than usual. I still have a week full of favorites for you, so let’s get to it. As usual, I’m linking up with Andrea and Erika.

Favorite 1: BOOKS!! I love to visit indie bookstores. They are so vital to our communities so I try to support them. We visited The Island Bookstore in Corolla, North Carolina last week. Jack wanted to go with me and we had a great time exploring the store. There were two floors (woohoo!!) and it was in the cutest house! Yulia was working and she helped me find a great Outer Banks book. I’m saving it for when I need to feel like I’m at the beach even though I am at home. They have three locations in the Outer Banks so you should check them out if you are there. Jack picked out three books and we picked up two for Luke.

I just started Writers and Lovers by Lily King. I was on the waiting list at the library forever. I’m just getting into it but I think I am really going to like it. Elin Hilderbrand recommended it and she has never steered me wrong.

I also shared some great new releases on Tuesday! I can’t wait to read them.

Favorite 2: SUNSHINE!! I’ll tell you what, those ocean sunrises were amazing!! We also saw a beautiful sun reflection in the clouds on our drive home and a rainbow in a cloud one night this week. The sun has really been putting on a show!

Favorite 3: JEWELRY!! I am loving lots of fun jewelry these days. I mentioned a bunch of my favorites yesterday from Cora’s Den.

I also picked up these two bracelet stacks on Amazon recently.
It looks like the gold is out of stock but there are other great colors. These look similar though. The colorful stack came way sooner than Amazon said it would.

Favorite 4: T-SHIRTS!! My sister-in-law had t-shirts made for us for the vacation and they are so cute! I love a theme and these are perfect for a 2020 vacation!

Favorite 5: BEACH!! I was going to do a post to recap our beach trip but it would be a lot of we got up, exercised, went to the beach, came home, showered, went to bed. So I’ll share a few pictures here. If you’ve been here for a little while, you know that the beach feeds my soul. I am never ready to leave the beach, ever. I feel like the saying “the sun, the sand, the sea, and me” is a pretty exact description of how I rejuvenate. Luckily, my people are beach people, too. They love the ocean and playing in the sand.

Favorite 6: PINGPONG! Luke started watching a pingpong video (I think it was on Dude Perfect) and he was inspired. It didn’t take long before they turned our dining room table into a pingpong table. It did keep the boys busy for quite a while on a cloudy day.

Favorite 7: FROZEN DRINKS!! Jeff and I are not big during the week drinkers but we made time for frozen drinks on vacation! My recent favorite is Miami Vice – piña colada and strawberry daiquiri mixed together. It is delicious!

That’s it for this week. The boys have soccer and baseball this weekend and we are hoping to spend a bunch of time at the pool with friends. Have a great weekend full of sunshine and books!
