Happy Friday! I am linking up with Erika and Andrea to share my favorites from the week. I hope your week was full of favorites!

Favorite 1: SUNSHINE!! Oh, we are soaking up the sunshine like it’s going to run out. I put in over 8 hours on the beach yesterday between walking and reading at sunrise and spending the day with the family. I love sunrise on the beach and Thursday was a good one.

Favorite 2: BOOKS!! I’m slowing down a bit the past two weeks because we’ve been with friends and family and enjoying everyone’s company. I did read The Royal We and I started The Heir Affair, both by Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan

Favorite 3: SURFING!! Jeff and I have always loved surfing movies – Endless Summer, Step into Liquid, Mavericks, etc. – but the kids and I have never surfed. We signed the boys up for surfing lessons this week and they LOVED it!!

We decided to rent some surfboards so the kids could keep surfing and the rest of us could try. Update: I am not going to be featured in any surfing movies any time soon! 😂

Favorite 4: DARK!! We went to the beach after dark to find some crabs and use our glow sticks. It was fun!!
