Happy Friday! This was a busy week full of fun! So busy, in fact, that I only made it to the pool two times! I have a lot of favorites, so let’s get to it!

Favorite 1: BEACH!! My parents were at the beach last weekend so the kids and I went, too. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back! The boys played in the water and the sand and had a great time!

Favorite 2: BOATS!! We decided to rent a pontoon boat on Monday while we were at the beach and it was such a blast! My dad drove and the boys helped him. We went all around the bay and this kids swam and jumped off the boat.

We picked up lunch at Seacrets in Ocean City, MD. For you East Coasters, I never ever thought that I would accompany my children or my parents on their first trip to Seacrets, but I did!!

Favorite 3: BOOKS!! A trip to the beach is not complete without a trip to my favorite beach bookstore – Bethany Beach Books. I was able to get a signed copy of 28 Summers by Elin Hilderbrand and can’t wait to read it on the beach. I also got a $10 reward in their frequent buyer program, so I guess I’ll be back. 😊

I am really excited about the books in my Tuesday Book Release Day post this week! I love Katherine Center’s books!

Favorite 4: BASEBALL!! Jack’s team played two scrimmages/games this week. They wore their new white uniforms on Wednesday and Jack was so excited! He played so well in both games and the team won both games.

One of our good friends, just got a puppy last month. Millie is a three month old lemon beagle and she is adorable! Luke had the best time with her at the game. He would be the best dog owner but outside of the pandemic we aren’t home enough for a puppy.

Luke does the best job entertaining himself at Jack’s games. He brings some toys and uses his imagination to play for hours. It’s pretty great!

Favorite 5: GOLF!! I was very happily the 5th wheel on Thursday night when the boys played golf. My dad walked with Luke and Jeff walked the course with Jack. After Jack finished, he and Jeff walked back and finished with Luke and my dad. It was fun to see my favorite foursome coming off the course.

Favorite 6: GIRLFRIENDS!! We celebrated our sweet friend Jodi’s birthday last Friday night at Black Ankle Winery. It is so so beautiful there and we had the best time! There was live music, we brought some good snacks, and the wine is always delicious! It was so fun!

Favorite 7: SUNSHINE!! I was out a little earlier than usual for my walk on Wednesday morning and the sky was so beautiful. I love that sun shining through the clouds!! It was the perfect way to start my day.

Favorite 8: JALAPEÑOS!! My new cold jalapeño popper dip is the new dip of summer! We are all loving it! You should really give it a try!
