Happy Monday! I’m linking up with Tanya and the girls for Hello Monday!

On Friday night, we watched a new tv show, Outmatched. This is the first sitcom my kids have ever watched and it was too funny trying to get them to understand it. One of the actors is in Luke’s class at school. He was so excited to see his buddy on tv!

We had a “not home much” weekend. Jack and Luke had a swim meet this weekend and we had to be there EARLY! Which meant we had to get up even earlier! On Sunday morning when I was waking Luke up, I actually said “You can sleep in on Monday.” 😂 Our team hosted the meet so the parents had to volunteer. I opted for safety Marshall. All I had to do was guard the locker room door and make sure the only people coming on deck were coaches, officials, and swimmers. No parents allowed!

This was one of two big meets for Jack. He qualified for Junior Champs in one event and was close in a few more. This weekend he qualified or bonus qualified for 3 more events! He’s been working so hard and I am so proud of him! He has one more chance to qualify for more events for Junior Champs next month so he needs to keep working hard, but I have faith in my boy!

I love swim meets because I can catch up on my reading. I finished one book, started another, and read 3 magazines this weekend. I found some good stuff in my Good Housekeeping.

Luke had a birthday party and Jeff had to work on Saturday evening, so Jack and I went out to dinner with my parents. I am loving the one kid/grandparents time that we’ve happened into lately. It feels so special!

On Sunday morning we were back at the pool and then I was off to get a mani/pedi. We have some warm weather travel planned for this week and I needed to be ready!

We were home for the rest of the day on Sunday getting ready for the week and travel ahead. We all got Amazon devices for Christmas (parents/sister/us – Echo Show, kids – dots) and my sister called on the show. It was fun to talk to her! I used to use little notepads for my to do list, but I recently upgraded to this one and I love it!
