A Childhood Favorite – 11/26/19

Happy Tuesday! Last week I made one of my favorite childhood recipes. It is quick and easy and perfect for a weeknight. My mom made it for my boys last winter and they love it! I hope you love it too!

Mrs. Geiss’ mother and my great grandmother were good friends. Her daughter, Gloria, was my Mommom’s best friend growing up. Mrs. Geiss’ daughter and my grandmother stayed so close that my mom called her Aunt Gloria when she was little. This tasty treat is Mrs. Geiss’ creation.

Mrs. Geiss’ Dish

1 lb ground beef
1 can tomato soup
Worcestershire sauce
1/2 package of egg noodles, cooked according to the directions (we use No Yolks)

Brown, crumble, and drain the ground beef. Return to pan and add the tomato soup and as much Worcestershire sauce as you’d like. I usually give it 5-8 shakes. Continue to cook until all the beef is coated with the tomato soup. Serve over hot egg noodles. Makes about 4 servings.

I usually serve it with a side salad and applesauce.

Enjoy!

Have a great day full of sunshine and books!

I LOVE the simplicity of this recipe! I would probably swap out the ground beef for ground turkey but that’s just me! I will let you know what I think after I make it! 😍
