Happy Monday! I’m calling this a triple Monday because I’m doing a double link up and it is our anniversary!

Jeff and I got married on June 10, 2006, so this is lucky number 13!! We are heading into our favorite season – SUMMER – and can’t wait to have some good family time ahead.

This is one of my favorites from our rehearsal dinner! Jeff’s mom, my mom, me, my sister, and Jeff’s sister.We had a family anniversary dinner last night after Jack’s baseball double header. The kids have been dying to go to The Melting Pot to celebrate their birthdays, so we made it a triple celebration and had a great evening. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

I am also linking up with Jen and Whitney for the 10 on the 10th link up.This month, we are sharing our 10 summer must haves. I have been thinking about nothing but summer so I am ready!

1 – GREAT BOOKS!! Of course my first summer must have would be a great book. I love to read all year long, but I especially love to read in the summer. On the beach, poolside, in the car on road trips, and as late as I want at night are such great times to read! We have six more days of school until I break in to my Summer Beach Books! You can also check out the books I’ve read this year and last.

2 – SUNSCREEN!! When you spend as much time in the sunshine as we do, you need a good sunscreen that everyone wants to wear. I discovered this Hint pineapple sunscreen last summer and all 4 of us love it! It smells SOOOOO GOOD and does a great job protecting our skin.

3 – GOOD TOWELS!! I picked these towels up at Target last year and they are holding up so well. They are still soft and thick and haven’t faded one bit. They say “Reserved” and make me giggle when I see them sitting on our chairs at the pool.I love this circle towel too. It’s bright, cheery, great for the ground/sand, and cozy to wrap up in.

4 – POOL BAG!! Last year my boys started carrying their own bags to the pool. They were responsible for their own towels, goggles, balls/toys, etc. When that happened, I decided to get a smaller bag for myself. I love these bags from LLBean because they dry super fast if they get wet and aren’t very heavy. It is the large, everyday lightweight tote. It holds everything Jeff and I need when we go to the pool.

5 – PLANNER!! If I am going to coordinate all the fun in a summer, I need a planner that can keep it all straight. I live and die by my Erin Condren life planner. I am a vertical, colorful layout girl. I can keep track of all the kids’ activities, my stuff, and Jeff’s schedule too. I am anxiously awaiting my new planner. It shipped on Friday, but the tracking says it won’t be here until next Monday! I’m crossing my fingers that it arrives sooner.

6 – SUMMER PURSE!! I love to change my purses out frequently. My summer purses are my favorites! I love this one from Barrington. Monogram + pineapple = fabulous!

I love this one that I picked up in one of the boutiques on Main Street in my town.

I have my eye on this one. I am really having a moment with Spartina 449! It’s pretty summer specific, but I do love it!

7 – SUNGLASSES!! I love the glasses I bought on the beach in Mexico last year and I wear them all the time!

However, they are a little big to wear with a hat or visor. I discovered that Shady Rays makes glasses in a smaller size. They had a great deal the other day – buy 2 get them both 50% off – so I took the plunge. I love them! I picked up a pair of aviators and a wayfarer type frame, too.

8 – RED, WHITE, AND BLUE!! Summer is the perfect time to sport some red, white, and blue. Between Memorial Day, Flag Day, the 4th of July, the Summer Olympics, and Labor Day, you are going to need some red, white, and blue in the summer! I even picked up a bathing suit in red, white, and blue tones this summer!

9 – SKIRTS!! I much prefer running outside in the summer to running on a treadmill. I like to run in compression shorts but I also like my bottom to be covered so I run in skirts. I love Skirt Sports Gym Girl Ultra skirt. They stay put and are always cute!

10 – FAMILY!! My final, and favorite, summer must have is time with my family! I love how much time we get to spend together at home and on vacation. It is definitely the best part of summer!! ☀️ ❤️ ☀️

This is our last full week of school. We are powering through and counting down the days!! I hope we all have a week full of sunshine and books, lots of books returned to the media center! 😉
