Happy Friday! Today is one of my most favorite Fridays of the school – It’s Field Day!! I love Field Day, or Play Day as some schools call it. We are outside all day, the weather is going to be beautiful, and the kids have so much fun! I will be heading back to the dunk tank for my 4th annual dunking. I always hop in there for my kiddos’ grades, but this year I get an extra dunk tank duty. That’s right – 90 min in the dunk tank for me.

Time for my favorites from the week. This is going to be short and sweet this week because I am one tired mama typing this on Thursday night and I need to get to bed.

Favorite 1: PREAKNESS! We had a great time at the Preakness again this year. The grown up time is always a blast! Jeff and I went had a red, white, and blue color scheme, also a favorite!

Favorite 2: OUTSIDE! The weather this week was amazing! I ran outside a few times. The kids have been playing outside all afternoon. All of this sunshine makes for happy Parsons!

Favorite 3: THE POOL!! Even though the pool doesn’t open until Saturday, I have been up there a bunch this week for meetings and helping get ready for opening day. The weather this weekend looks AMAZING and I can’t wait to park myself at the middle umbrella, deep end and enjoy it!

Favorite 4: FIELD TRIPS! I got to go on a field trip with Jack this week. He asked Jeff to chaperone first, but when he had meetings that he couldn’t change Jack asked me to go. I had a great time with him. They went to the Ag-venture through University of Maryland and learned all about the agriscience in our county. We got to pet Frankie, a 2 month old calf, and he was so sweet!

Favorite 5: PLANNERS!! I love my Erin Condren life planner so much! And I love my Erin Condren teacher planner just as much. I was almost a little sad yesterday when I realized I was planned for the whole year and there wasn’t much more to write in my teacher planner. I usually wait until July 1st to buy my new life and teacher planners but I may order a little earlier this year. 2020 is filling up with a lot of fun and I want to make sure I don’t miss a thing! I just changed my life planner cover for Memorial Day. These interchangeable covers are a definite favorite!

Favorite 6: SNEAKERS! I love fun sneakers and I am ready for a new pair of running shoes. So when Brooks released these on Thursday, I was pulled to them. These bright colors make me so happy! Pinks and yellows are my favorite colors – they just make me smile!

That’s about it for the day. I am so ready for this weekend. The pool is opening. Jack’s playing in a baseball tournament. We are going to the Memorial Day parade in my hometown. The weather is going to be beautiful! I can’t wait to all of that to happen! Have a great weekend full of sunshine and books!
