Happy Monday!! We had a great weekend in the beautiful weather!!

On Friday evening, Luke had his soccer team party. He had a great year on the team. The venue had a stream where the boys caught crayfish, worms, frogs, and other stream-living things. They ran in the fields and played kickball. It was the perfect evening for kids to run around in the beautiful weather!!

I loved this romper that I picked up on Amazon a few months ago. It’s still available and the necklace was a perfect compliment to it. On Saturday morning, we were up and moving. Jeff and I were headed to Preakness with his parents, brother, and sister-in-law. My dad came over to spend the day with the boys. They had a great day and Luke crushed it in his baseball game! He pitched strikeouts, hit, and played well in the field. Jack got to be the third base coach for Luke’s game, so he was pretty pumped too!

Jeff and I had a great time at Preakness. The weather couldn’t have been lovelier! I didn’t win anything on the horses, but I’m ok with it.

On Sunday, I got up and headed back to Barre class for the first time in two months. It felt good to be back, but I am definitely going to be feeling it for a few days. Both boys had home games on Sunday so Jeff and I got to watch all the games today. Luke’s soccer team won and he scored on a PK. Jack’s team won both games of their double header! He had a highlight reel worthy catch and got on base a bunch.

He also got hit by a pitch and got his first good baseball bruise.

Apparently someone touched me with a higher sunscreen than I was wearing on Sunday because this is how my arm looks now. Who knows??

Everyone showered up and we got ready for the upcoming week. We have at least 4 baseball games this week, a field trip, golf camp, spirit week at school, and Field Day. #itsmay! I’m hanging on, hoping our meals consist of more veggies than fast food, and looking forward to the pool opening on Saturday! Have a great day full of sunshine and books!
