Happy Friday!! I am so ready for it to be Friday!! I am linking up with Erika, Narci, and Andrea to share my favorites!

Favorite 1: SINGLE DIGITS!! Alert, Alert, the pool opens in 8 days!! (I added this picture on Thursday night and on Thursday the count was 9 days.) The pool is one of my favorite places of all time. I don’t care what pool it is as long as my people are there.

Favorite 2: SISTERS!! I love my sister and I love anytime I can spend time with her. We are pretty lucky that we both have fabulous taste in clothes 😉 and can share clothes too. You may think that living in Maryland while she lives in Florida could create to large of a distance to share clothes, but it does not! UPS, Fed Ex, and USPS are our best partners in sharing! We mail dresses, skirts, shirts, and sometimes shoes back and forth when the other one needs something. When I was at Annie’s in October, she gave me this dress because she hadn’t worn it in a while. I finally wore it this week and got a ton of compliments on it. It was comfy and perfect for spring weather.

Favorite 3: CELEBRATING!! Jack finished his state standardized testing on Thursday and we celebrated with some delicious frozen yogurt. He worked so hard in each session and I am so proud of him!! Way to go buddy!

The celebratory throwing away of things at the end of the year is another favorite!! It feels so good to be one step closer to summer!

Favorite 4: PREAKNESS!! Jeff and I are headed to Preakness on Saturday. We get all dressed up and have the best time. We go with Jeff’s family and it is a really nice grown ups only day. The weather is supposed to be beautiful this year! We’ve had a bunch of cold or rainy Preakness days recently so the sun will be fabulous!

Favorite 5: BOOKS! I have been reading a bunch lately. Even when I don’t love a book, I still love reading. I’ve been reading on my kindle a lot and it is so great to keep in my purse for a free moment. I am missing the feel of a real book and will probably pick one to read next. I am still trying to figure out my Summer Beach Read dilemma. Do I read them now or wait until I am finished work so they are officially summer reads? I just don’t know what to do. I’m not starting any new beach reads now. I started this one last night.

I just finished A Palm Beach Wife by Susan Marren. I loved all of the Palm Beach references – the landmarks, the designers, the resort way of life – and I love the main character Faith. I was cheering for her the whole time. I thought the supporting characters were fun and added good stuff to the story. However, I hated the end. It just ended. If ever there was a book that needed an epilogue, it was this one. I stayed up late to finish it because my kindle said I had 30 minutes to go and I was mad. Tired, and mad to read the ending. I was certain that the epilogue got cut off in my galley copy so I headed to the internet. Nope, it did not get cut off. The book just ends in that most abrupt way. ☀️ ☀️ ☀️
