Happy Friday! I am linking up with Erika, Narci, and Andrea to share my favorites from the week. I hope you had a great week, too!
Favorite 1 – Birthdays! Jack turns 9 on Saturday and wanted to have a sleepover with 5 of his buddies from school. I am not really sure why they call it a sleepover, because there is very little sleep occurring! The boys had a blast playing outside and watching a movie.
Favorite 2 – This Smile! Jack and Jeff went to the Wizards game on Tuesday night. It was Jack’s first NBA game and he got to go on the court after the game. He was on cloud nine all day Wednesday and that big smile came right back anytime he talked about it.

This was a pretty “suite way to watch an NBA game!
Favorite 3 – Opening Day! Thursday was Opening Day for the Orioles and we are excited! We’ve made plans to head to the ballpark soon and loved seeing a walk off homer for an O’s win yesterday! The boys and I were ready for some Orioles Magic!
Favorite 4 – The Music Man! I introduced the boys to The Music Man on Wednesday afternoon. They enjoyed it, but their comments were hilarious! “Mom, this is so old! It looks like Nintendo!” “Why are they all so fancy ALL THE TIME?” “Did people really start singing and everyone around them just knew the words in the olden days?”
Favorite 5 – 24! Jack joined the 24 club at school and is having a blast. He asked if we could get a copy of the game to play at home and I Amazon Primed it immediately. If you aren’t familiar with the game, there are 4 numbers on a card and you can use any operation (multiply, divide, add, or subtract) to get a final answer of 24. We’ve been playing at home and it is a definite favorite!
That’s it for this week. We have a little Spring Break this weekend (no school Friday/Monday) and are looking forward to some fun. The birthday celebrations continue and we are celebrating Easter with our families. I hope you have a great weekend full of sunshine and books!
